So basically just acted as a vent to help oil drain quicker through the oil returns

Any more updates on the gtr ?

Getting a Quaife ATB front diff installed and the rear is getting rebuilt to around 30% higher torque settings. That plus the brakes and I'll take it back out for some fun :)

who needs dedicated track car hey ! nice man taking this to its full potential

what times did you run in the old green beast ? i need something to aim for once i learn how to drive straight

66.7 I think was best long track, did some suspension stuff after that which would have made it quicker but never got it out again.

I think most the RWD quick Skylines are around the 66 mark but Denver is doing 63 (but that is a race car)

If you can crack into the 65's or better your doing well

I've followed your build threads, gtst and now gtr, and ultimatey which 32 do you find quicker?

I thought you were nearing a 65 in the t67 rb25 rwd monster

GTR is miles quicker at the track and a fair whack quicker in a straight line, the old green thing was bargain performance where the GTR isn't

Well GTR ownership is getting expensively depressing. Quaife ATB which has finally arrived this week and is being installed on the 6th of Jan.

Rear diff has been rebuilt and tightened so it's gone from 19lb/ft of breakaway to 49lb/ft. Should be even better for 4wd sideways action once both diffs are back in.

All shiny and tight!

Went to my first ever event in the WA Sprint Championship, was a bit tighter and different to what I'm used to but I did really well coming in 2nd out of 83 cars. Got pipped by around half a second by another 32R which is really set up well with a RB30, EFR8374 and some very nice suspension goodies. About 4 sec clear of the rest of the field made me fairly happy!

Finally back and running, the alignment got a bit stuffed up and they put toe out on the rear instead of in which made it interesting with delaminating tyres on the rear :)

This track you are on . Is it near Perth airport ?

    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
