Suspense, we need our next installment

So do I, it seems forever since I bought the heap and hopefully I will have a Dyno to post tonight or tomorrow, might get a few laughs with the final installment :/

But I might CRY

But the test comes when I am driving it home :)

The new Pod set up is not as pretty as the original but if it works better, it will have a CAI when finished :)

Sorry to not go back through 95 pages to find the photo... Did they go from single to the dual pods or the other way around? I'm presuming the single is the new setup? Much neater in my opinion if it is. Less clutter = good times!

Went single as the other setup did not work with the new 6boost setup

Already looks cleaner and will look cleaner again once inclosed plus no AFM to restrict flow

Tell Jez no rush, we still 5 pages to go :P

4 1/2 to go and I am doing my best to drag it out, hope I never get the car and make it to 101

As you see I am doing my best to get the magic 100 :anyone:

I look forward to your response on the cars response, and also Jez's response on the response.

Ben your response has forced me to respond to your response!

As far as Jez's response he has not responded with a response but I am expecting a response from him at any time, well if he has time for the response as he said he is busy and may not respond to my response to his earlier response that got mixed up in all of the other responses that people responded to.

I hope you receive this response in time to respond to my response to your earlier response .

If you have time to respond I look forward to your response

Fark this life is too short to respond, I think I will have a red and send you my response later on

The new intake looks really nice and neat pete

Got used of the shinny intakes and pods and black tossed me at first, but it will have a pod cover anyway and I think it is a better position, so all good :)

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
