  1. Where's the speed, torque, and temp sensor probes? How will the Emtron control this 0_0
  2. We'll illness ruined plans this weekend. Neighbour is sick so he won't be doing guards. I've come down with what the girls had, so happy father's day to me. Got a the EBC in yesterday before I got hit. Very simple install. Not hooked up to wastegate actuator yet as I'm planning on going external with the new turbo.
  3. I hear this alot. I guess it depends who you lend it to. A mate bought himself a newish trailer recently and is very selective about who uses it. If he doesn't like their style he just says no, simple as that.
  4. I treat it like my own, I do the tyres and wash it down (if oil leak) after use. I paid the $50 rego this year lol I think I'm nicer to it than he is
  5. Big spender! I won't buy a trailer until either I or my neighbor moves away. Costs me a $50 slab every few times I use it lol Will take a lot of slabs to cover the cost of a tilt trailer!
  6. I reckon a few of you are pros at hand cranking.
  7. Fair enough, turbine speed I was across, just wasn't sure what the need for EG pressure was other than data logging. More info the better I say. Too much guesswork on these forums.
  8. And what useful info will that provide? Or it just another way of knowing when a system is at its limit without having to guess? Like the speed sensor on the turbski
  9. Yeah will still get a Hans, especially with this huge turbo upgrade that might see me into the low 200rwkw range lol Not rolling the guards is a back saving measure. I'm off to the specialist in October to see what we can do there. Rolling guards was not in my best interest and for $150, worth saving a few hours of my weekend
  10. Been slowly making progress. Borrowed guard roller and lined up panel beater for this weekend. Come across a near new GTX2860R, only a Kinugawa. Would have preferred 2863 but this was half price. Has a T3 vband rear on it so if anyone wants to swap me for a T2 standard 5 bolt housing let me know. Been looking at WMI as well, blame DosePipe for that. I don't wanna move the Silvia to e85 and WMI will get me most of the result while not needing to change my fuel setup beyond a small bump in injectors to support the bigger turbo. Wouldn't mind building a setup but don't see how you save much on the average kit costs. Thoughts welcome. Did consider I could've bought a 2863 for the price of WMI and 2860 but I wouldn't get the benefit of the additional timing or cooler temps. See how I go on the WMI front, still on the fence. Still meaning to buy a helmet and Hans but bought turbo instead... Woops!
  11. Probs one small mounting hole difference that makes them incompatible and the GTR one worth 3x more.
  12. I don't know enough about stock evo shifter setups to know if that's legit or not, if so, super cool What kit did you buy? Grab me for one my Silvia thanks!
  13. That's an odd one, hope they get it sorted ASAP.
  14. Used to carry a hammer in my VK for exactly that reason
  15. You seem offended by the implication, good Only a few hours and a few bucks to buy and fit a new one, so I guess the car will be running again in another few months.
  16. As soon as mine started making that slight squeel I had it rebuilt while it was in with the tuner, did you get any warning or is it just seized up from sitting so long chock full of clutch dust?
  17. "Do YOU come with the car?"
  18. I have some parts from both you can buy if you like, or is this just about getting closer to me? xox
  19. Car looks awesome on track
  20. A mate of mine is 1st in line to buy it, but honestly, I only "lose" what I've spent on it if I sell it so I might as well just keep enjoying the R&D that's gone into it. I'd say the GT-R will be sold before this.
  21. I'm all about those Tsukuba laps
  22. This is a running joke with my mates actually, that I'm a drifter. I hate flat brim caps, not a fan of drifting/drifters and at the last event I did a little slide and managed to not f**k it up so now I'm a drifter apparently lol The drifting community, the bad elements, ruined a lot of what was good about the JDM "scene" if you want to call it that. Also gutted the prices for cars/parts (good and bad depending if you're buying/selling) and was far too representative of the dumbass yolo concept. I've found some of them are OK, and funnily enough the ones that are usually grip drive also. I do love me some rice, but I'm fairly anti drift/drifters. It's the only "motorsport" that's judged by anything other than measurable numbers. I fully admit there's lots of skill in doing it well and that I do not have, nor will ever have, nor want, that skill, but I can appreciate it when I see it.
