  1. few tricks like Worst part is the ignition trace is not scattered like you would assume. ( not sure why the above is not in qoute tags lol)
  2. 580rwkw is my record but im sure there are higher ones out there.... even a 460rwkw Nistune SR has come through with flying colors.
  3. Car is sorted, faulty CAS.... 385rwkw @ 22 dropping to 18psi.... very conservative tune due to the previous issues... should swing 400rwkw without a sweat. To those who questioned pinging trust me i can pick it up well in advance i have over $2500 in knock monitoring gear (PLEX which is the best on the market and another which was originally designed for RBs during the gibson era) Its a truly weird occurrence and is only the second RB in 10yrs i've had with this issue (different symptoms though).
  4. Std new oem coil packs (not the 300 dollar sets on ebay which are copies) and irridium or platinum plugs gapped at 0.5mm will support close to 1000hp. Split fire and the same plugs will also handle more HP than most will ever need.
  5. should also check actual mapping tables... do both map and tps on a gtr on map only on gts ooh populate your inj latency vs voltage table before tuning.
  6. e85 is no different than tuning on anything else.... the fuel is not the issue.
  7. easy, we buy gtr boxes to repair our broken rb25 boxes all the time. out put shaft from a gtr is useless to you but the rest is fine.

  10. yeah, ringlands are fine provided the tune and engine it self is sound, one engine made high 400's but my testicles were far to small and we stopped pushing.

  12. We test daily UNITED is the only pump fuel we recommend (caltex is average). So much so that we dont use drum. A tuner should tune any pump e85 car to be safe on any thing down to e70 (just in case you need to fill with caltex etc) as its a very minor change in tune.... and minimal loss in hp... very minimal
  13. 350 is about the safe limit, we have a few in the 400's but i would not recommend it.
  14. has it got a vct fuel or ign compensation table sounds like something to do with vct?
  15. many of the rods are so close its not such a worry but pistons vary alot. go the best pistons you can afford, quieter and better oil control.
  16. whats wrong with the pectal? dont buy an ecu till you talk to me i have something very special about to surface.
  17. i have a full fc-edit (fc datalogit) kit for sale with legit software if you get stuck. $250 it is registered so updates can be downloaded and unlocks the diy tuner group on yahoo.

  19. what injectors? i would not be too concerned unless its bouncing, its not uncommon to to run 60-80 base pressures depending on target boost and pump capabilities. ID recommend a base of 60-100psi depending on application. I generally run 60psi on bigger injectors ie 1000 and 2000cc. Basically keep TOTAL pressure under the injectors limits. ID725 - 8.5 bar, 123.5 psi. ID850 - 7.0 bar, 101.5 psi. ID1000 - 7.0 bar, 101.5 psi. ID2000 - 9.0 bar, 130.5 psi.
