  1. Put a five litre can of petrol in your boot and keep driving til it runs out of fuel.
  2. Did you try dropping a little oil in the cylinders and repeating the test? If it doesn't change problem is likely in the head or gasket. Do a leakdown test - it might pin point the problem. What do you use the car for? You could just keep driving it. Otherwise you need to pull the head off at least and check the head and valves unless testing says its the short assembly. Personally I would have pulled the motor down for a look and rings and bearings at least before installing.
  3. Get the car up on stands and have a look at what could be hitting.
  4. Yes and if your next question is does the atessa take the same oil the answer is still yes - so buy a 20L container and you can use it for the auto and power steering as well.
  5. SK suggests Castrol Transmax Z but any quality preferably synthetic ATF will do it.
  6. No point in changing the manifolds if you are going single. Waste of money which would be better spent on a quality manifold for the single. I attach my pic of a quality manifold with a GT3540 but I would support your getting a better twin scroll turbo.
  7. Most cars have tinny horns. I got a set of these for my Stagea: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/High-Power-Stebel-Magnum-Twin-Electric-12-volt-136dB-Car-or-Bike-Horn-Kit-Loud-/121599084940?hash=item1c4fdec98c:g:wHoAAOSwjVVV2Wgo
  8. Don't know the answer to your question but I have seen cars written off because of the cost of replacing the airbags. I would suggest checking out some non franchised Nissan workshops for ideas.
  9. Welcome! First thing is to spend a few hours checking out all the sections in this site - then search for particular topics using Google (which will bring up this site for most Skyline related questions).
  10. Stock works pretty good.
  11. GTR is a much more robust unit and bolts straight on but the outlet is larger and would have to be stepped down to your recirc pipe. (I happen to have one for sale at a small price)
  12. No need to open the engine for 250kw. Use a quality synthetic oil and a quality tuner. If you want to bash the limiter go right ahead and wait till it blows. Then pull engine and spend the $10K - $20K to make it stronger.
  13. Some Z32s have 6 x 1 axles and a wider diff head. (beaten to the punch)
  14. ECUs are not really "plug and Play" you have to tune them to suit the injectors and any other non standard features. Have you got an air temp sensor connected?
  15. Had a look at the Nismo list. They list the same LSD for the R32GTR, R33GTR R34GTR and all R34s. They do not list an LSD to replace the active diff (which is not to say they don't make one). Do you have a Nismo part number for the Nismo diff and how reliable is the fact that its a GTR LSD?
  16. Appreciate your hard work. I cannot turn off the notifications for new content. But more importantly I cannot turn on the emails when I get a message ...which I find handy
  17. What about a non-franchise shop that works on Nissans and has a Consult tool?
  18. That's its job! Do you have a nearby Nissan dealer?
  19. If its the stock one you are due for a new pump. If you have the gear stick a fuel pressure gauge on and see what comes out of the old pump.
  20. Only got one answer from Google: 225 50 16 Max you should go on stock rims is 245
  21. Looks like a custom job. Lot of people get a unit made up to include the catch can and washer reservoir.
  22. Longer opening of the exhaust means it takes longer to build up the compression. Comes into its own at high revs.
