  1. I have converted to a manual one with no issues so I'm saying yes lol
  2. You would want a r33 turbo one for obvious reasons though unless u dont care about having no boost meter
  3. Try the electric tape fix too... fixed my misfires. ..
  4. I had almost the same issue. I thought swapping to the trusty bcpr7es will fix but no. My car prefers the expensive iridium. .. (don't ask me why.i did a lot of back to back testing. look for 1 of my post) but the plan in the future is to get splitfires and retry the copper plugs... im thinking tired coil packs. .btw I don't suffer misfire using iridium though just wondering why using coppers i misfire that's all. .
  5. Do i need a remap if the head is being skimmed?
  6. Bloody hell... been contemplating for months about this and missed this thread and now waiting for my higher spring actuator to arrive. I knew it in my guts i should've just gone the ewg set up. .. gahh...
  7. Not only heater hose but the radiator hose. Ask me how i know ...
  8. When i tried adjusting mine, it just wouldn't drop or increase the Idle rpm... good info. Didn't know the aac valve will get f**ked overtime... Will have a look into sourcing a second hand unit ...
  9. Damn... I'm definitely going split fires now. .. also i wrapped my oems with no issues. ..
  10. Well yes you're right. There are arguably one of the best to restore power/issues based on price & quality compared to oem ones. The oem ones lasted about a decade or more. .. just wished the splitfires were built to last longer than oem that's all lol but then again it's already priced cheaper than oem ... meh. ..
  11. Which is why i hesitated to get split fires. But then again it's cheaper than oem. Wish there was another reliable cheaper brand other than electric tape
  12. Not sure if this helps but i knew a guy who used a r33 pfc on a neo. He mentioned something about wiring. But i didn't ask more. But in sure someone will know around here
  13. Well guess it's a bit over kill then but ok
  14. Apologies for hijacking but quick one...( instead of starting a new thread) , can i apply this on a r33 rb25det? Basically arp head bolts and studs and oem head gasket for a bone stock 380rwhp street car.
  15. Follow the guide. .. it's just a guide that is tried and tested. .. or work alongside that guide. ..
  16. Well i was stating the fact that i do know about that spread sheet u shared. (And that i did read about it and not just ask without searching) I downloaded a pdf version from this thread. Only recently i came across what tomei mentioned and was a bit confused. But nonetheless now i can be sure it's OK to use them in hydraulic type lifters.
  17. I have that pdf file ok (downloaded that like 5 months back! ) so don't go assuming i didn't read through this thread wise ass! That's why i asked to be sure after recently researching and read what tomei posted!
  18. Exactly my point. I thought tomei mentioned the restrictors are for solid engines only?
