  1. I've found century to be shit. Supercharge have been good for me, good rep.
  2. must be padded, must retain airbag, must be at least 330?mm diameter. So just keep stock if wanting to stay legal.
  3. if you're a fan of Star Warz and hip hop.....or Star-hop....or hip-Warz...
  4. lol ...and so it begins...
  5. an evo 8 is 2004? fk me time flies. awd is awesome I got to say. I like r33's but they *used* to be a great car; performance wise by modern times, not so much.
  6. so i'll just clarify " The spark plugs are so covered with carbon deposits i guess thats due to running rich. Any suggestions?? " you've put bigger injectors in, haven't done anything to adjust the tune, and now it's running rich? as Trex said...probably wheel bearing, or Johnson rod.
  7. Roy thanks for your input, very detailed Just read your first post If you're thinking the stock gtr calipers have too much bite then you're right , it's all about the driver feel and we probably have very different opinions on this! Glad you're happy with the stoptech setup, I've certainly been happy with the attkd calipers over stock ,so each to their own.
  8. FFS...i have never said stock r33 brakes have failed me, or that they're not a reasonable size. That doesn't mean it's not worth improving them, and that the braking performance experienced doesn't make it a worthwhile upgrade. Why should everyone's priorities HAVE to be that they make hi power, and then upgrade brakes afterwards. i can't believe that's such a hard concept to grasp..
  9. that's very interesting feedback - I was looking at their piston sizes thinking hmmm, not a huge jump in size over stock? No doubt they make a quality unit though.
  10. how do you like the Stoptech calipers? Was looking at a set of those for the front, ended up going the ATTKD 6pot though.
  11. yeah good comment champ. Let me guess, intima sr again?
  12. the 324mm gtr discs are a good cheap upgrade but night and day when compared to moving to a larger caliper/pad. Not talking about you, but those who say, "stock brakes are fine" have clearly never driven a skyline with an upgraded brake package; they're just fkn awesome. check the pad difference, and overall size of the caliper I always found stock brakes not that responsive; hell, the company car Mazda 2 had sharper brake response than my r33, until I moved to the ATTKD upgrade. and welcome back ben34, where u been????
  13. Calipers are same, hub mounts are different, i believe. R34 calipers have longer leg to make them sit further out and take 310mm disc.
  14. Pcv valve itself gunks up with oil and crud, sometime doesnt seat proper or move freely. I didn't have much cleaning mine out so just replaced it, which fixed the issue in my boost leak testing.
  15. i had 343mm wilwood discs and calipers under 17's, heaps of room. For quick n easy, like kiwi said, go a 330mm Justjap/ATTKD (not k sport, for political reasons) kit.
  16. Re your 2nd last post; longer wheel studs and 10mm hubcentric slip on spacer at front? It's what i use....well, 15mm slipon, but same idea.
  17. no. put it under the diff.
  18. great pics Trev keep posting up mate
  19. I ended up with about 15mm thread engagement but yes had to cut down tie rods to fit them. I do have an as-new set for sale, will mention...
  20. the quality of them seems high. I'd always prefer steel there than aluminium but I imagine gk tech would have done enough testing to ensure strong enough.
  21. You'll still work on it, no doubt. Having got 2 g for a car i spent 40g on (desperate sale) I'd buy a decent build if it came up, there's bargains out there.
