Thanks lookingforboost and beer baron for your support...

Of course i knew about ecu its getting done soon..

Ive got the ecu...my tuner it just busy thats all...just the time in between thats..

Well I found out it is safe drive the car from other mechanics and tuners.

because it still runs on standard ecu and boost..

just as long as you dont rev it to redline or on boost all the time which doesnt come on until 4.5 - 5rpm anyway....or give it in top end...

it doesnt matter if i have bigger injectors or hi pressure fuel reg and fuel pump...

The car will still run the same as standard because its still running the standard ecu

so the fuel mixture will still be the same...I know i its putting more volume of air but

just as long as you dont drive it like you stole it it will be fine...

It will not run rich or lean. The only way it will run rich or lean is that if i have a faulty airflow meter or a oxygen sensor..

Fuel pressure does not matter, the pressure that does not get used or fuel will go back to the fuel tank as it normally does...

f**kin LOL.

ITT: Herpa durp OP gets trolled by haturz.

Almost as good as 22's on a 33. Almost.

I seriously hope you are a 13 year old kid on school holidays and are just f**king with us because if you are actually being serious and you believe the dribble you just wrote you need help.

Start reading:

Also english grammer doesn't require you to end every single sentence with three or two full stops.

PS: Beer Baron was taking the piss out of you just FIY

rofl at the "Fuel pressure doesn't matter"

no worries then mate, dial the fuel pressure back a bit and drive it hard, because it doesn't matter. Actually, dial it back heaps, and then you can save fuel!

Fark, I wish forums come with a bullshit\spam\schoolkid\idiot filter.

Then I wouldn't waste time laughing at these threads. My 2c lol.

Damn, if you just started the thread with " I don't know sh!t guys I aint gona pretend I just got cash and want to freak up my bitch and this is what Im up to, what's next" then this whole thing would be different.

Why dont you save up and buy one and maybe you'll stop been a hater...

phil's 33 has had more coin spent on it than 34 GTR money... as have many many others on here...

lol... in what state can p platers drive GTRs?

WA, as previously stated. i brought my 33 about a month before i got my p's, its only mildly modded though and i drive like a granny most the time anyways :) i prefer to appreciate my car for the awesome peice of engineering it is instead of thrashing its nuts off every chance i get.

Solution to dealing with potential troll / genuine tosser:

Tell him to drive the car hard and that this is safe. You can't get trolled by saying that. If he's genuine, well it's one less tool with an RB26.

I really do not see what everyone is carrying on about, the thread was settled within the first 5 posts.

OP asked if its safe to do what hes doing, he got his answer promptly at NO. OP did not ask further silly questions, he acknowledges he did not know any better. STATUS even posted good reason why NOT to do it giving the OP the idea he needs to stop in clear cut FACTUAL form.

Worse has happened, let it go.

Mods please lock, this is a tech section NOT the wasteland.

Well personally, I was hoping for more gold like this:

But I do agree. Tech section, question has been answered.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
