....wonder if we could get them to fit....Pity single bolt is illegal on street use :whistling: damn it!

What size are the tyres? The profile is quite nice, are they semi's or slicks?

they are full wet's....would have to go and check the size....cannot remember!

Installed Hicas lock bar on arse of the 260 and then had a full wheel alignment done.

All the extra Autech bracing made it a rather frustrating job.

Feels a lot more solid around sweeping bends/ bumpy stuff.

Installed This week.

- rear camber arms - Neotech

- Rear wheel bearings + seals - Nissan genuine

- Rear Pads - Bendix DB1399

- Chinese rims gone - Enki's now on new tires.

Tomorrow

- front camber arms - JJR

- timing belt - Gates

Saturday

- wheel alignment

they are cloth seat's in Steve's old car!

P.S. What's a V34....it that like the two door version of a C34?nyaanyaa.gif

BTW. Thought I might mention.....the weight of the seat's(which are the full electric ones) in the M35 is stupids! I recon there about 30-40KG each......noticeable weight saving to be made there straight away! Taking them out would probably push us to a 50/50 split!

Look under her seat, is there a yellow plug? It connects to a sensor located in the seat which is part of the airbag system. If that's disconnected, in the event of an accident your airbags won't fire; and you'll always have a blinking airbag sensor.

The Neotech arms are a nice piece of gear. Comparable to jap stuff easily.

although i have pale seats in a black interior, i dont mind it.

one day ill get some black leather heated seats to match. but right now i dont care.

just need some nismo floor mats!

Spoke with Cihan today. He reckons I don't need bigger injectors with the stock turbo...maybe just change the fuel pump to a Walbro 043 intank unit if I'm looking at upping the injectors later...which I won't have to do if I'm going LPG.

RE shift kit and trans cooler - probably beneficial but not necassary at this stage...he said he's going to experiement with using EMU to control the gearbox to make it hold better and prolong its life? I can't remember exactly what he said....

gah he's moved to Campbellfield...would've been sooo easy if he was still working at RE or Dandy...ah well...small price to pay I guess!

3 more weeks...hmmm

Oh BTW need to get my spark plugs done before I do in. NGK or Denso? iridium or plat? Cheapest place to get em?

With Motul 300V does that last for 10k km or do I still need to change @ 5000?

NGK iridiums.

if your winding up your power, i'de be doing every 5000k.

It is still reccomended every 5000k as your car is almost 10yo

FYI people, i put a 2002 transmission computer in my 2001 car. it holds gears slightly longer and doesnt change up as soon as i let my foot of the throttle.

it has a different revision number. probably new programming too

Yes, it will last 10,000kms for sure

5000km changes? Bullshit.

10,000km with a Group V oil is no problem... unless you are tracking it.

    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
    • There's not a great deal to report here .... except ...... FOR .... LSD!!!  I bought a Quaife LSD from the UK and shipped it here .... Wish I'd just bought locally cause the shipping and duty was $700! But there were so many diffs used in the E90s I just wanted to be absolutely certain I was getting the right one so I spoke with a supplier in the UK who builds race cars and they have heaps of experience with the E90s.  I pulled the diff out which was seriously awesome - I've never done anything like that before, I must have watched 1000 videos on YT about it as well as consulting the Bentley manual. It was super easy in the end. The diff was delivered to the awesome folks at Hornsby Diffs and will be back in a few weeks. I also replaced the diff bushings with some Nolathane ones.  Really looking forward to getting it back and getting back to the track or even the skidpan.
    • yeah... the 13kg/mm springs weren't always in there, I had 10kg/mm but doing a few SMSP commanded heavier front springs. It's so good now going into T1 and T2, just need more seat time and real tyres.
