No difference, but P plate is the start of your 1 year probation before you can get a faster bike, so I guess they're testing if you're worthy of a bigger bike and then making you wait a year of practicing for it. They also teach and test you a couple advanced techniques.

I was on my Ls for 3 years just cause I couldn't be f**ked going for Ps to start the probation lol.

f**k that, I'd get my p's asap

Give me a Ducati or a TLR1000 any day of the week. Mates of mine have Duc's, no reliability issues to speak of other than complaints from neighbours :D

End of the day a v-twin just sounds wicked. Also the Jap bikes all going "bottom/mid side" exhausts atm looks shit house I reckon.

And before you get ya knickers in a knot, one of em have had plenty of jap bikes (and one still has a R1). Unless you wanna go out racing and going flat out everywhere... Looks good, sounds good, is good!

But they are farken expensive, but means you can pickup a 2-3yr old one and save fortune! :teehee:

Sure I enjoy riding Ducatis, but have known many cracked single sided swingarms (stupid design purely for looks) and also busted starter motors, usually these are recurring problems as well that take forever to fix because Euro parts are difficult. After working in motorcycle wholesale you get an idea of what bikes last well and what doesn't. Also Euro has a small section of the market so problems won't be seen as often as they would with equal numbers.

Having said that the Streetfighter is on my list, but as you say only for looks and sound. As long as an owner is happy with this then that's cool, I wouldn't be able to buy one without another bike in my garage, due to the type of riding I prefer.

On another note did you know the state of California has more motorcycles than the whole of Australia? Freakin awesome.

And i could imagine some of them being ridiculously awesome big $$$ rare as shit bikes too :D

Some f**kwit decided to take out a power pole at 5am, woke up to no power, showering and eating breakfast in the dark,,, then my route to work was closed off because of it.

Was at least 2 fire trucks ambos a few cop cars as well as a chopper and powercor obviously.

Mother f**ker

loooool

You can have your L's for only 12months, then you must do your P's test, or your L's will b cancelled. Talking from experience 

Must have changed it since I did it, which wa years ago, though I vaguely remember renewing / getting an extension on my Ls. I had no motivation to get Ps because motorbike was purely a commuting thing for me and I had no intention of buying a bigger bike at the time.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
