If Judge Judy has taught me anything, its that stupid people somemtimes do stupid things with some kind of backstory.

Cousins aunties step-brothers mothers dog probably borrowed money a while back, or stepped on someones shoe or called someone a slag.

Anyway point is, if there was some sort of personal involvement or the victim recognised them from kindergarten or if it was some sort of vigilantism (sp) the news/police report isnt going to mention it.

Forced break-in of elderly lady? sure, probably pretty straight forward.

Man stabbed in a supposed mugging and the muggers not taking anything and then being caught within 24 hours? theres probably more to this.

This is a good point...

When a relative of mine was jailed, I couldn't believe how many media reports came out spruiking absolute bullshit - facts and statistics wrong; writing only one side of the story; changing words around to suit; misquoting etc. Completely lost faith in the mainstream media at that point. Focus seems to be on getting the story out there and grabbing attention rather than telling it how it is. Sensationalism defined.

Can do, are you gonna be running an aftermarket oil cooler though? If you are it might pay to delete the factory heat exchanger while the engine is out. NA heater hoses clean it up a lot under the plenum and gets rid of a heap of potential leak points.

So I see, no aftermarket oil cooler yet unfortunately :(

Where did you get that pic from? One of your jobs? Looks very less cluttered than my stock one

when we had a shooting near the club, the herald sun ran a FRONT PAGE article saying the shooting happened inside Hard Kandy. They included our name, logo, a photo of people on the dancefloor and a floor plan of the clubthat was complete with little stars showing where shots were fired and where the fight broke out.

the shooting was unrelated to HK and actually happened at the exford which is on the other side of the road and has nothing to du with HK. It also happened over 30 minutes after we kicked the group out of our club for being overly drunk and abusive.

still the herald sun just made up a headline grabbing story and there was nothing we could do as once the paper was run, the damage was done.

we contacted our lawyers (a HUGE international firm) and were told that there is no point pursuing it as the herald sun make a habit of doing this and has the means and finances to defend the issue for a lot longer than we do

cliffs notes: herald sun has no integrity and I would like release a pack of ebola monkeys into the building and lock the doors / windows

Here's the part #'s for R34 heater hoses, rad hoses, thermostat & heater core.

Upper Rad Hose - 21501-AA000
Lower Rad Hose - 21503-AA000
Heater Hose Core Upper - 92401-AA000
Heater Hose Core Lower - 92410-AA000
Metal heater hose piece on firewall - 92403-AA000
Heater hose upper - 92400-AA500
Heater hose lower - 92412-AA500
All The Hoses for the heat exchanger
14056-21U20
14053-21U10
14056-21U10
21307-21U20
21307-21U15
Thermostat - 21200-V7205
Heater Core assembly - 27140-15U00
If you have the opportunity to do an aftermarket oil cooler it would save a bunch of effort and be better for your engine in the long run, These are the parts needed for heat exchanger delete which then get rid of the upper and lower heater hoses and all the heat exchanger hoses as well.
Fitting between pressure sender and block - 25071-F6000
Front Heater hose - 92412-70T00
Rear heater hose - 92400-70T00
Threaded piece for oil filter - 15213-21001
Block fitting for Rear heater hose - 14075-75T00

All of them have no integrity as far as I'm concerned. The moment something becomes more about ratings and money than truth, corruption has a path. There's more to everything, which is why we're never in a good position to judge based on news alone. Even experts disagree!

A friend of mine did work experience and confirmed what we already knew: working for the herals sun requires selling your soul.

And unfortunately, I work with people who read the shit. I do know poeple who read it, just so they can point out all the errors and how misleading the stories are, which is almost just as bad.

Offloading responsibility onto others is quite possibly the best way to get through life without a hitch. I believe they teach courses on it, but they call it a diploma of management.

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
