Guy that stole my bike crashed as well, they caught him but I never heard anything else. The flamin mongrel should of been made to pay my insurance excess.

Bloody oath, I'm surprised your insurance company didn't waive it cause usually when you can identify the third party driver or in this case the thief, they can recoup funds from them and waive the excess.

I got my excess refunded once the guy who stole my car was identified

I should tell the wifey to take up a career in teaching

If she is patient, hard-working, enthusiastic, energetic, fair, positive, caring, organised, dedicated, an effective communicator, loves children, loves learning, wants to spend hundreds of dollars on resources, wants to work most nights and weekends, and wants to make a difference to the lives of children, then yes tell her :)

You can't do all the course work during work hours?

I have two friends as teachers in WA coincidentally, and it all seems easy breezy

Though this is Primary school. I imagine that High school is a bit different, where you would need quite a bit of techincal knowledge

Like every industry there are people good at it, people bad at if, people who handle things differently and people who put in more work than others, also different companies/organisations who have different expectations etc.

Have heard some teachers who say it's easy, others who say it's not but do it for the love etc.

No; an effective teacher can not just work during school hours.

Reports alone take up a month of work every night/weekends

Preparation for the week and assessment/marking takes all day for me Sunday, and this isn't just me, most of the teachers at the school I work at are here on the weekends.

Primary teaching is much more complicated than high school; you need to be prepared for seven learning areas - content and resources, high school is one learning area which you repeat the lesson for

And people in here are talking like ambos just drive a bus around... They might be the only thing keeping you alive one day... You'd wanna hope they're not too pre occupied with their shit wages...

imagine if dez drove an ambo, see that flamin mongrel kick the door down to save your life, then calls you a cock sucker.

day 3, i can f**king do this..

My ex-wife was a RN, I understand the skills they have.

But a lot of people have skills.

70k+ is not necessarily a shit wage, to the extent of protesting and writing about how you need more money all over the work vehicle that your employer provides.

And people in here are talking like ambos just drive a bus around... They might be the only thing keeping you alive one day... You'd wanna hope they're not too pre occupied with their shit wages...

Let's remember that a) 70k is far from a shit wage b) they willingly chose the job no gun to their head

If ambos work as estimated 148 days a year @ 70k they are making approx $470 a day so tell me how they should be carrying on about shit wages

not justifying anything.

but do remember that is not a 8 hour day, usually 12.5-13 hour day.

so that drops the $per hour quite a bit.

If there's a shortage of ambos, increase the pay, if there are too many, keep it the same

Isn't that how every other industry works when it boils down to it? Supply and demand? Ala FIFO

That's fine apart from the problem of its not private enterprise its government money ... A quick glance at labors promises shows they have zero possibility of fulfilling them all given how little money is available

It's really a wider issue the federal gov has the same problem the age of entitlement will destroy australia

Always winners and losers in an election

Though I do think health and education need to be number one and yet they are always the industries you hear about cuts being made in, whilst we continue to blow money on huge sporting events and luxuries etc.

+1 I would indeed hope that someone who has CHOSEN such a career path wouldn't be a selfish flog and let someone die because they are busy pissing and moaning about earning at least $40 per hour

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
