Anyone know how I would go about getting insurance through Shannons? I'm 24, clean driving record with no accidents etc. I heard that because some people were paid members of SAU they were a bit more flexible?

Didn't even get asked that. I was asked what car I drive and how old I am. After that she said we can't insure you. I then told her I have a clean driving record, part of SAU and other members have been insured under 25. She just dismissed it all

I've had nothing but good with them, aside from them trying to increase my premium every year but that's easy solved. My claim was worry free.
