2 mods today 

First is a GKTech Brake Master Cylinder stopper. 

 

Next a GHTech sticker for the extra 2KW!

Just gotta drive it now to see what difference it makes...

Latest small mod - gkTech Cluth Fan upgrade...

Super easy mod, their youtube video makes it even easier. 

The amount of air this new fan pulls through is phenomenal...these gkTech people lnow what theyre doing...

 

What is the next thing to do....recommendations?

Yep, only ever seen them work well on SR setups.

The old stock one is hanging on by a thread...theres some biggg cracks in it.

I guess I'll how this one goes, pretty easy to find a stock one and replace it if needed.

Just read through the whole history of this car,
what an awesome write up 👍

I likewise have a very stock(ish) r33 gts-t ('95 series 1.5) and also not looking at making massive kw's from it.
love the footwell lighting and exhaust (mine has a cannon on it and i would very much like to switch to dual twins sometime) the sound is similar when open but amazingly quiet when closed, nice for starting up and getting in and out of my estate, then open it up when i get out on more open roads .... will have to look into that.

Lots of work to the car...

- Major service done by Glende Garage which included timing belt, water pump, all fluids, all filter, some old cracked hoses, wrecked gaskets and random bits and pieces...very happy with the work and service

- Repair of 5 broken exhaust studs also by Glynde Garage

- New Wheels! Set of Rays Gram Lights 57DR, down to 18" with Pilot Sport 4 tyres....car looks muchhhh better in my opinion...very happy!

Its been a while!
Finally thought to do something on this car, so here we go.
This will be a slow burning, multiple posts as I spend 0.5-1hr a day on this job, over multiple days...
Full set of GKTech suspension arms!

 

Step 1: Buy Arms, done!

Step 2: Start removing stuff.
HICAS was easy.

Rear suspension arms are now gone, they were a bitch but breaker bars with long handle extensions, 2 1.5hr slots later, stock arms are off!

Next step, remove the hubs and take them to work to press out the bearings and bushings!

End game is to:

- Remove all the slop from old worn parts
- Adjust setup so that the wheels actually fit and the car is drivable (currently it is not because of the extreme rubbing on the guards).

 

Progress over the last couple of days, removed the rear hubs!

Next steps:

- Buy bushings
- Replace bushings/bearings on hub
- Reinstall
