Interesting thing with tac. Years ago I had a stack and broke my leg on a road registered dirt bike at a motorcross track. I wasn't going to bother trying to claim tac but the doctors at the hospital insisted when I told them the bike was reg'd. I filled out the forms truthfully, expecting to get rejected but surprisingly they came to the party and covered my medical costs and  85% of my wages till I recovered.  Was very surprised indeed. Felt like a major win.

i think you can eliminate the noob part of both of those scenarios, because as many of us have learned (particularly martin lol) that tyre conditions are very important and even skilled folk can make errors.

At the end of the day, no one is forcing anyone to donate. there are plenty of gimps on gofundme and patreon and stuff that are just looking for a payout. and if anyone wants to give their money, well then thats their loss. hmmm maybe its a good way to launder...

Wonder if they were actual semis and not just good street tyres everyone calls semi's. aka AD08's or Rs3's

Everyone seems pretty accustomed to the difference nowadays. Considering how many cars you see running them on the street anyway.

That's interesting. What insurance did the event have? Obviously running road legal tyres? Did TAC ask for any specific info on the bike?

re the crash.

from my bored searching

dude in the 350 is running mid to low 30's   so proper semis and is moving.

the other due from the last 2 events I can see he ran is low 50's...ie slow

from the natsoft results I see 350 guy got in 5 laps b4 for the incident.
other guy got 0..

so one wonders if they didn't send a slow car out in the middle of a bunch of fast cars in middle of a session.

either way it sucks massively to have an incident, clad they are walking away.

but get ambo cover if your going to track your car and yes from experience , don't go hard till temps are up. else you will have a bad day.....

Wasn't an event, I was practising on a Wednesday avo at Frankston motocross track. Tac didn't ask questions at all. Got a letter from them about 4-5 weeks after lodging the claim telling me it was accepted. Bike was a Tm 250 2t enduro running on knobbies. Full road reg for enduro eligibility.

the mrs got me f1 2016 for fathers day (the dog is my daughter, managed to con f1 2016 out of her, get leesh to buy you xbox one brah :D) been playing that a bit, shit is pretty intense and realistic with tyre wear and strategy etc

came 4th on my first race on expert, there's another couple of higher settings you can pick that must be quick as f**k

changing fuel maps and DRS while driving good fun too, you can do diff / downforce / braking changes as well, pretty complex game

The month trip to Europe negates all presents for the next year :)

Any recommendations for a wheel alignment place close to Mentone that's open on weekends?

associated tyre did an alright job on mine many years ago and have a pit style setup so low isn't an issue

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
