  1. WTB: R32 GT-R 1990 front speaker mounts and power window switch Hi all, Fixing up the old GT-R and after a few parts: Passenger power window switch 25431-01U00 Switch Assy-Power Window,Assist Driver and Passenger front speaker mounts 28166-01U01 Bracket-Front Speaker,RH 28167-01U01 Bracket-Front Speaker,LH I would prefer near Melbourne so that I can view before buying but will pay for postage for the right bits. Please PM or reply here if you have any of the above in good working order. Cheers Rob
  2. I bought the front and rear kits from alpha omega racing over a year ago so things may have changed but a few things spring to mind: 1. During the order process for the kit, I had to specify the car model that the kit was going into. Presumably this dictates the components that make up the kit. 2. Depending on what kit you bought, (or separate components?) you may need to rebuild the calipers prior to use. But maybe you bought the rebuilt calipers?
  3. That does look awesome. Do you need to cut the front bar to make it fit into an R32 GT-R though?
  4. And Nico is out of here.....didn't see that coming
  5. IIRC, in the UK, a local council can install speed humps but speed limit changes and signs require approval from the Department for Transport. So guess what the result is...
  6. If the clutch is good, use Redline Shockproof in the gearbox and buy diffs instead? Why Quaife instead of Nismo at the front?
  7. Head office I think. The super cars and other sports cars are there too sometimes.
  8. Engine bay is looking fantastic. What nuts did you use for the strut tower brace? Were they from pro bolt?
  9. Glad that I have the day off work
  10. I hear that! My gearbox was woeful changing down to 4th but after it was changed to redline it was a different car. It really only masks the problem and I know that I will be up for a new gearbox but it has lasted a year and hasn't gotten any worse (yet).
  11. Can you tell us where you are sourcing it from?
  12. Bumpity bump
  13. Cheers!
  14. Hi Terry, Who made the CF exhaust shroud? It looks really good and I wouldn't mind getting one for my GT-R. Thanks Rob
  15. The factory mesh looks so crisp and clean on your car. Is it new or did you clean it up? If the latter, what did you clean it with? Cheers Rob
  16. IACV?
  17. 1. Receipt / Contract of sale for the car including sellers full name, address, VIN, KMs, date of sale, price, serial number. I called Vicroads and they were super helpful (no joke) to find out what was needed. 2. Receipt / Contract of sale for the engine (details as above) 3. Scanned copy of sellers driver's license 4. VIC RWC 5. Insurance policy 6. Vicroads paperwork completed in full (this smoothed the way when I was late) 7. Temp Rego to drive from worshop to vicroads. 8. Proof of my identity 9. Bolts etc. to affix plates. 10. NSW dereg papers
  18. I registered my R32 GT-R for the first time in VIC a year ago. Had been deregistered in NSW 6 months before. In the interim, I had an engine swap performed (another RB26 so no big deal) and no other earth shattering mods. I was late to the VIC Roads appointment due to a flat battery (of all the crappy luck) but had every scrap of paperwork in order (I am a touch OCD) so it went through without a hitch. Other than having to google search on my phone to show the inspector where to find the engine number. But again, no big deal. Have all of your paperwork in order. If there are discrepancies in the car's history, ensure that you have supporting doco.
  19. Looks awesome. What a bloody fantastic workshop you have there.
  20. Is there any way to change the sort order of the threads in the Subscribed tab in the Android mobile app? The old version (pre site upgrade) used to sort based on latest posting whereas the new app (including yesterday's upgrade) seems to sort based on date subscribed. Cheers
  21. What tyre size would you expect to run? I have 255 35 and my guards aren't rolled so is that a smaller tyre size than you would recommend? Cheers Rob
  22. 18 x 9.5 +12 are a great fitment on an R32 GT-R
