Not being negative towards dumb questions, everyone has them and I'm sure people are happy to answer them. I'm targeting general laziness (not saying you're lazy, but if you did some more investigating on your car you would have got your answer quicker than starting a new thread). Not having a stab at you man, but if you pulled the bulb out, you would see the type printed/stamped on there. E.g. on the D2S/R bulbs, they are printed on the black bit (See picture above). On the H1, it would be stamped on the base. Do you have pictures of the bulbs in your car? It's after market so it probably looks a little different. If it is radically different to the D2R picture above, then it's not a D2R bulb.

Which kit did you purchase?
For those of you who have the factory ballast but have random coloured bulbs, I suggest getting genuine Philips bulbs, e.g.:

Yes they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. You also need a strong ballast to fire them up quickly and run them at proper temperature (such as OEM). I have D2S in my car, and the cheap China ballasts struggled with them (got different colours lol).
