  1. Dude you can run 285/30/18 tyres, roll the guards.
  2. There is also Premium 5 (5W-60) If you local store doesn't have it, go to another one (if you can).
  3. If you can't be bothered waiting for GKTech to make it, buy a pair from UAS.
  4. If I were you, I would park your current car somewhere (like your parents' as suggested), come down here, work your butt off, party a bit, maybe buy a cheapish car as a run around, go back to UK with heaps of cash, splash out on your GT-R .
  5. I distinctly remember seeing a thread on here about the ebay being fake and how to spot the differences.
  6. ^ Well said. In saying that, still a glorified lawn mower :P
  7. I have one from my old RB20DET. PM me.
  8. I might sell mine soon, will let you know.
  9. When I put the Brembos on my car, I had the same problem. Kept bleeding it and it did improve a bit. Put a Cusco BMC and that improved pedal travel noticeably. At the moment I can drive around with more confidence than the old stockers (pads were below average), but under hard braking the pedal starts to sink. I need a new brake master .
  10. I've done the same kilometres on my car with Yellow Jackets without issue.
  11. My car does something similar, it runs rough when cold then all of a sudden after about 5 minutes it runs fine. Even weirder, when I first start it up it's fine, the issue kicks in about a minute after. I'm placing my bet on AFMs.
  12. No you'll have to get it engineered. You can contact your local registry office to confirm.
  13. From where? The fake ebay ones?
  14. FYI you can use R32 and R33 fans.
  15. Any update on this? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/397435-sau-32-changesfeatures-register-updated-1204-1900/page-3#entry6948662
  16. Tensioner pulley might be seizing?

  19. Unfortunately and ultimately yes. It depends on what you want from your headlights. If you're running 8000K lights, your chances of getting done are a lot higher. Then again I passed two Honda Civics last night with blue HID bulbs glaring from their standard reflector headlights. Chances of getting done with 4300K bulbs I assume are lower. But if you have loud exhaust or very low car, or just prick coppers in your area, it's just something you add to the defect list so there's no point running expensive OEM stuff is there? I don't have issues with a good aftermarket bulb. I have a spare pair which works fine and cost half the price. It's just the quality and the light output is a bit better from the Philips. Fitment is also spot on (the "good" bulbs I have a slightly rotated, doesn't really matter for D2S but might slightly affect the beam on D2R). I had a few of H3 HID bulbs which are rotated as well. Also beware of fake Philips on ebay. suwidji - Did your car come with the OEM ballasts?
  20. Have you done a search for R34 wiring diagram?
  21. Not being negative towards dumb questions, everyone has them and I'm sure people are happy to answer them. I'm targeting general laziness (not saying you're lazy, but if you did some more investigating on your car you would have got your answer quicker than starting a new thread). Not having a stab at you man, but if you pulled the bulb out, you would see the type printed/stamped on there. E.g. on the D2S/R bulbs, they are printed on the black bit (See picture above). On the H1, it would be stamped on the base. Do you have pictures of the bulbs in your car? It's after market so it probably looks a little different. If it is radically different to the D2R picture above, then it's not a D2R bulb. Assuming your headlights look like this? Source: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/431045-r34-fenders-skirts-xenon-hid-lights/ Which kit did you purchase? For those of you who have the factory ballast but have random coloured bulbs, I suggest getting genuine Philips bulbs, e.g.: http://www.powerbulbs.com/au/product/xenon-vision-d2r-85126-single Yes they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. You also need a strong ballast to fire them up quickly and run them at proper temperature (such as OEM). I have D2S in my car, and the cheap China ballasts struggled with them (got different colours lol).
  22. BTW, you can run 265/35/18 easily on 10" wheel, so you can invest in a set of 265/35 (assuming you want to put the tyres on the new wheels when they arrive) then get 275/35 once the tyres are worn .
  23. Did you drill the caliper mount holes out? If not, why not put helicoils in the caliper? I have spare coils (I put R34 front brakes on my car), let me know if you want them (have 8).
