  1. Try the AFM solder fix if the cleaning doesn't help.
  2. Just replace it with another front shaft You coming to the SAU EC south day?
  3. You're definitely getting ripped for those Federals. You can get KU31 for less than $200 each in 265/35/18. I got Falken FK452 for $180 each (check tempe tyres from time to time, cheap cheap. Contact Bob Jane for Dunlop Sport Maxx). Stance crowd? The Bridgestones on my car at the moment: I would not put anything less than 265 on a 10".
  4. 265/35 is fine on a 10". The amount of stretch look will depend on the tyre. E.g. my 18x10 came with Potenza TS-02, they look pretty stretched. I put Azenis FK452 on two of them and they have a little bit of stretch. Same size tyres 265/35/18.
  5. Yeah looks like the Nismo boot lip, but it's probably modified. It'll look crap from the top though (the space for the wing mounts will be there, so you'll have to fill the area for a smooth look).
  6. Z32s are underrated, direct competitor to the Supra. Not a huge fan of the front end though, but they came with factory Xenon lights!
  7. Heat transfer from the clutch/gearbox through the slave and into the lines/clutch fluid.
  8. Perhaps try pulling the fluid out of the tank then refilling and bleeding it?
  9. Tried Taarks or RHDJapan?
  10. Air Flow Meters
  11. Do have an option of running a disco potato sized turbo, not sure what turbo would be a bolt on. Doh! Should read "Sell whatever..."
  12. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CHROME-SILVER-STEEL-TUNER-WHEEL-NUTS-x20-ROTA-M12x1-25mm-/151129175771
  13. Yeah, used SIN5 (now Premium 5). But used Racing 10 this year, no issues driving around in the heat nor on Marulan. Will see how it holds up at Eastern Creek south.
  14. Here's a crappy picture of my car. I'm going to re-do the headlights soon.
  15. You're slack, the Magnatec might kill his engine
  16. Tell whatever hybrid turbo you have. Buy a NEO6 turbo, it bolts straight on. Put the RB20 actuator on that and enjoy 10psi. It kicks in around 3,000rpm (probably a bit earlier if you had a full exhaust). Good for some fast driving, better fuel economy while putting around. Win win.
  17. Only if you drive like a dick, or hang out with a bunch of them. Other scenario is your plates are noted by police. Other than that, cops don't really care as long as your car looks roadworthy and you don't drive like an idiot. Although it does differ depending on area, I've never been targeted by the police in my three Skylines (they look pretty standard though).
  18. Firstly, wrong sub forum. Secondly, you shouldn't have to cut the fan blades, but it is possible. If it's not a return flow intercooler you will have to cut a hole on the driver's side to feed the cold side pipe. It should make it unroadworthy (don't see how it won't).
  19. +2 same here, looks like the tyres are designed for the stance crowd. Actually on the limit these look like they might be worse (contact patch reduces a lot quicker as the car is "tipping" onto the edge of the tyre). Plus different shorter inner diameter compared to outer, wouldn't that cause the inner to wear out quicker?
  20. That's probably one of the reasons why USA-spec cars (e.g. USDM JZA80 Supra) got steel wheel turbos.
  21. So cool, even has roof racks! Seen this?: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/416450-r32-gt-r-v-spec-v-spec-ii-register-inc-n1-v-spec-v-spec-ii-models/page-5
  22. Yeah give Racing 10 (10W-40) a go. I think they have a thicker oil in that product line. These are $75/bottle, but they should be more stable when running at 100deg. My car is street driven, but switching from HPR to SIN I found the temps stayed a little bit lower (barely detectable).
