  2. Start with the basics. What car do you have?
  3. Sounds like the author of that article is a Hilux/4WD owner. Modifying any car will cost you money. Not as fun though. But there are better ways of doing things. Sell car, buy R31 and install VL turbo "kit"

    Why?

What about the non Germans? That sounds like something that happened a few decades ago...
  5. My guess is turbo seal, water getting into exhaust housing. Pull the intake pipes off and have a look.
  6. Ah so those are shitty ebay halogen headlights. You'll have to bake it apart, then unsolder/replace the LEDs. Replace the projector while you're at it.
  7. You want light at the cut-off, not in front of your bumper. Do you walk at night in the dark with your torch pointed in front of your feet or further up?
  8. Err when I have my low beams on and it gives more light in close, and further light, with the same spread. That's better Bright foreground is not better. Do you turn your foglights on as well while on the highway? But hey, not my vision and safety that's affected, unless you drive past me of course, then I'd get pissed at the glare.
  9. Paper pod filters are cheap and plentiful these days, so no point spending $200 on Apexi ones. Just don't get K&N oil ones, regardless of what anyone else says. $10 paper ones do a better job.
  10. Yeah but look at the difference in welds between the street and race versions. Also, Nismo wouldn't let Gibson line his cars up with theirs for whatever reasons...
  11. Please post details of this fancy LED PnP bulb. I'm curious to see it. What you don't want is this: To answer the OP's question, the best on the market so far is this: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-g11-series-led-headlight-fog-light-conversion-kit/ I found the supplier on alibaba, but it's minimum 10 orders for around $30 a pair.
  12. The sealed units going into trains are not the same as PnP 'halogen replacement' units you get from China via eBay. Oh and having a bright foreground, which basically all LED PnP ones give you, is not an upgrade. Think about what's more important when you're doing 60 km/h, objects in front of your bumper or objects at the cut-off of your low beam. Think of this, if you want more power from your engine, do you upgrade the turbo, injectors, fuel pump, or do you just screw the standard ceramic turbo to 20 psi and hope for the best?
  13. Threads merged. One thread per seller as per rules.
  14. Go to HID planet and trawl through the LED section. Lots of info on there regarding chip design etc. tl;dr - almost all junk, except Philips, which aren't an upgrade but a cosmetic change to 6,000k-ish colour. Very expensive as well.
  15. Start at the positive terminal at the battery. There should be a fuse box somewhere in the engine bay with relays and fuses. Check your owner's manual.
  16. What lights are LED on V35 headlights? Got any photos?
  17. I suggest messaging the seller directly.
  18. You're cutting up a fire hazard. Plus dual wielding chainsaws would be awesome.
  19. "look at this R33 with autobarn rear muffler, pfft" *hears it spool up* "dayyyyyeeemmmm" Give me a ride in it once it's done.
  20. Hmmmmmm you're on to something there
  21. Yep, get under/behind the dash and start poking around. Have fun! Reminds me of my R32 clock, it used to turn on for a few minutes every few months, then once a year. Now it has left me completely
  22. Isn't the engine VR30DETT? As in, smaller GT-R engine.
  23. Hahaha that's an epic low-revs diesel engine
  24. I'd start by flushing the power steering system (with new fluid).
  25. Probably bad solder joints on the PCB. Pull the cluster out and have a look at the back of it.
