Nek level steering wheel lock, saw this in Naples, Italy. Gosh what a shit hole lol... I suggest for anyone considering on visiting not to stay there, if you're going to the beautiful islands just go direct, don't waste your time in Naples (however the pizzas are so cheap it makes no sense, a double scoop of gelato cost more).

When we seeing a true "Arab" burn out? Lol.. considering that was your old alias. -
Pick up some random activity you wouldn't normally do such as yoga, learning an instrument, cooking classes (not BBQ classes, too blokey). For me personally, breaking habits, stop trying to help others all the time and being somewhat selfish has improved my mental state. Being in the service side of IT, you're always trying to help, serve, deliver and meet people's bullshit expectations. That then often transmits into day to day life as well. Also, go to a skid pan. Somehow that always cheers me up sliding around lololol (cheaper than track days).
-
Must also add, working in IT (with devs, dev ops, infra, etc.) doesn't help. They're the most negative karnts on the planet. The only semi positive IT pricks I've worked with are those working in digital/media agencies because all they do is drink all day or rack up lines of coke.

I'm with @mlr on this, start gymming 1st thing each day. Get into a rhythm and yeah it might be hard waking up early, hitting the gym when there aren't any hot bitches to look at but remember why you're there. You're working your mind and body. Break habits, such as fap time and porn. Stop playing computer games, go walk your dog/cat to the park (No wife or kids). Whilst doing this, don't touch your phone (No SAU, no FB, no Insta), focus on enjoying your day and appreciate life. It all starts with small habit breaking things, but remember you're never alone Next thing you need to do is go to Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium.

Should do it man, such an amazing experience. Nothing like any festival I've been too and especially better than the Aussie version of Sensation White (what a disaster). Do it man, people there were going with their parents too! Those Europeans party hard lolol
-
It is, also Europeans party very differently to others. You could easily spot the Americans and Aussies. American girls dressed like wh0res with tape bikinis and ar5e cheeks hanging everywhere and the Aussie girls weren't far behind. The guys were just total morons, sliding down the hill, pushing and shoving people. At the rate we're going, wouldn't surprise me if they limit/ban Aussies in future.

Been to many music festivals, clubs, raves around Australia and other parts of the world but just last week I was fortunate enough to go to Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium. This year marked the 15th Tomorrowland to take place. It's amazing how the entire country takes such pride and involvement in the festival and people of all ages are supportive and participate in such a magical experience. Anyhow, probably no-one or very few are interested in this but if you do then here's a few photos of the mainstage on closing night. My wife, friends and I were lucky enough to get a great viewing point, right on the viewing platform that was closest to the stage. FWIW, I came dressed in a VB singlets and a Bunnings straw hat ? And here's Day 1, mainstage. Just casually sporting a Bunnings hat lol.

You're able to bend the blend, so it's not linearised. Two maps are perfectly fine, then you slowly decrease the ethanol concentration and adjust the blend amount between the two maps as you slowly drop back into 98RON. Generally the blend table looks a bit like an exponential decay or growth (depending on the direction of your blend). Sure, tuning with 10 maps is great, but totally overkill and not worth the man hours.
-
Kinda, but they're pretty inaccurate. I generally don't push the tune on any car running 98RON also generally not knock limited. On E85 it's much harder for you to knock, unless you've really cocked up the timing to cause any pre-ignition or actually knock with buckets of timing. Generally when you feed in timing and you're not gaining any additional torque, that's time to stop. Feeding any more, you'll start to lose power and be eventually knock limited. I'm planning to only push it to about 330~340kW on 98RON then send it's mum on E85.

Hahaha yeah if I win the lotto, I'll send it there! In the meantime my pleb spec wiring with eBay braid will do on the shit box (probably still nicer than 95% of the built shit boxes out there).

Gtx3076r - want longer flutter/dose
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to HUAWEI's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
GTX compressors generally only make truck/bus style dose, you need the old school 6+6 blade design, they dose sick. So downgrading your turbo might be the only solution. And to get decent dose, you need long AF FMIC pipe work. If you look at the best dosing cars, their pipe work is super long. -
GTX3076R GEN II VS GTX3576R GEN II on RB26

Not too sure, been so busy as I've started a new job, finished renos at home, trying to spin up a new e-comm, etc. Car is definitely right down there on the priorities list. I would like a new 100mm Plaz cooler first before I send it's mum and yeah been following Benchmark and having chats here and there with Ben and he's getting 400~440kW on these turbos (depending on rear housing). He did say he prefers the larger rear housings than the 0.83 divided ones. -

I don't believe it does, nor have I had such experience. I generally just trim fuel based on IAT but that could be an ancient way of doing things. Quick Spool feature, pretty much just sets the DC on 100% before you reach within say 50kPA of your targetted boost threshold before it accesses the base DC table followed by enabling closed loop boost control. It's a bit hard to get it to not spike, just need a bit more time on the street and dyno. -
In the right spot GM IAT sensor, post intercooler BUT not inside the engine bay to avoid heat soak.
-
No real updates, just been driving it here and there and slowing dialing in the tune. Looks like I need a new FMIC, after a few 3rd gear pulls the IATs are going well into the high 40s, low 50s. Last night, did a light touch up because I now need to daily the R33 to and from work whilst the Tiguan is in for hail repairs from last year. Here's a log of a somewhat "large" rear housing and setup, nearly 1.3bar by 4000rpm in 3rd! I think I can get it to come on even earlier by lean spooling it a tad, but it's a bit hard to dial on the street. Once I'm happy with it, I'll go hire a dyno and finish it off on 98RON, then one day I'll go and do the flex tune. I suspect I'll hit 330~350kW on 98RON

Keeping the GTX flame alive, nearly 1.3bar in 3rd @ 4000rpm on 98RON and pretty low timing. She's a bit rich, but we'll get there. Haven't quite got the IAT compensation table right Also found out there's a Quick Spool function with Halalkebab Elite, I like it. -
Is my planned setup overkill?

If you have that much oil filling up and running out of the cam breathers then you have bigger issues to deal with to be honest. I think the name "head drain" is a bit misleading.. they're put in place to allow an equilibrium of pressure between the crank case and the head so you don't go blowing out dip sticks OR build up too much crank case pressure thus making it hard for oil to drain back down into the sump through the OEM channels.
