  1. @Pattey21 hub dyno vs. roller dyno - results will vary.
  2. I really should take up more tuning jobs, good money but man I'm a lazy prick.
  3. PowerFC delete, Nistune install, upgrade to Z32 street tuna. Ready for dyno in a few weeks, runs an Auto Salon special Garrett GT2871 from the 90s and Tomei Procams. Owner wants it on 98RON only, should see 230kW to 240kW on crap all timing to preserve the motor.
  4. You'll need a Samsonas
  5. Don't bother with the Plazmaman Street Series, they're as good as a HDi. Get the HDi GT2 coolers, they're pretty decent for the money you're paying, yes return flows "make" power on E85 setups, because that fuel suppresses so much knock it doesn't matter how hot your charge temps (IATs) are. Cooler air = Denser Air = Less knock Time to cut a hole in your body work
  6. More like 2psi up top, his actuator is weak hence his gate is being blown open by the exhaust gasses. Also your motor isn't tired, I had a motor well over 200000km and put in 25psi into it, last about 1.5 years of track use before it went bang LOL
  7. Charge temps are too high, your cat is fine.
  8. Amazing result Steve, glad to hear everything worked out. Being humans, we are attracted (by nature) to negativity, e.g. bad news, bad incidence etc. We always remember the bad memories and not so much the good.
  9. That's great news Steve! Was that your 1st redundancy? It can be pretty stressful but afterwards it's more of a blessing in disguise. I've been through 3x redundancies, 1st one was hard, the other two I was loving life - free money! Also, cut out the pr0n & fapping (it helps heaps).
  10. Stock bottom will go bang with 400kW+ Box will die easily with 250kW with a few laps at Wakefield. S15 bottom will do 320 to 340kW with torque being limited either via timing or boost control strategies. Should do a 5 speed swap using a R33/34 RB25 turbo box.
  11. Did one ages before but on shitty tyres, I fear trying in such a small space with semis might propel the car into the Tiguan lol
  12. Hasn't moved in 2 months, just gets started, rev it a few times. Once it's warm, I commence a few anti-lag hits to spool the turbo and it gets turned off.
  13. cost wise, but did I put RS4 in there? I am still cool lol
  14. Where are the rolling anti-lag videos?
  15. Still a new turbo, regardless if it's being used to it's potential will still be yield more performance than a manifold (which might improve nothing besides sound). And if you're living life on the edge, just max out your AFM and add a FPR to bump up your fuel rail pressure to get a bit of headroom from your injectors. Should be able to yield a healthy 220~230kW with the AFM voltage flat lining lol.
  16. NT05 aren't really a motorsport tyre, it's more of a UHP. I ran them before I switched to NT01 for circuit use and shaved over 3 seconds off my time. NT01 are a proper motorsport tyre. If budget comes to mind, these semis are a good option: Achilles 123s (as mentioned) Nitto NT01 Nankang AR1 (I'm running them now, yet to test them on the circuit) If it's mainly for street with light track work (still budget range): Bridgestone RE003 (when there are buy 3 get the 4th free sales) Nitto NT05 Hankook RS3 (when they're on sale, old stock, etc., superseded by RS4) Nankang NS-2R (there are two version, get the lower tread wear option) Federal RS-RR (they still split after some age, I would avoid) If you have coin to blow: Advan Neova AD08r Hankook Z221 All the above are tyres I've used and recommended, either on my own car or other cars I've driven on the track.
  17. You need to also get the appropriate rotors to suit the turbo model brake calipers.
  18. The thing holding up your setup now is actually your turbo.
  19. Prev owner was into Auto Salon, hence the car is purple and he used a hammer to roll the guards (the car had wanky 19s on it) he didn't reseal the cracked paint and rust took over. Then when I needed to fit the 18x9.5 +22 with 255 wide semis, I went to town with a guard roller and destroyed both guards. Also going to reshell next year so don't care
  20. Its not often anyone gets a chance to correct gts boy, actually it's never but the sr turbos are Garrett. S13 was t25, s14 and s15 was t28 gt2560. lol.... so GTS Boy 10000, adms15 1 still a win is a win FWIW, all Nissan turbos belong in the bin.
  21. I'm back in Australia, didn't get deported or stopped at boarder security! Needed high heat for this dish and the induction stove top just won't cut it. Used a butane camping stove (with the holes drilled out), and I'm sure now the R33 is covered in oil splatter but at least it smells good.
  22. Fuuark, you're young inside. I've plumbed mine back lol.. but after the cat. Should be good seeing your face once you open up your single #twinsaregay
  23. Mashallah, quiet is best (also shows you're an old kient too)
  24. Nek level steering wheel lock, saw this in Naples, Italy. Gosh what a shit hole lol... I suggest for anyone considering on visiting not to stay there, if you're going to the beautiful islands just go direct, don't waste your time in Naples (however the pizzas are so cheap it makes no sense, a double scoop of gelato cost more).
