  1. So some tuning happened today and successful testing of the billet alloy brace from PRP, we had solid/consistent oil pressure the whole time. Proper test will be on the track then pull down after a 6 months to see how the bearings look etc Here's a short pull, found that one of the pumps could be on its' way out and will be looked at tomorrow then replaced etc. video-1558513230.mp4
  2. Fast forward a few days and here we are! No exhaust on at the moment just the dump pipe. Tune next week ? video-1558048418.mp4
  3. Can count the days left on one hand.. Waiting for couple of small pieces to arrive on monday and also an oil accumulator for some extra peace of mind.
  4. So after a couple of delays... We are at the final stage! video-1557193360.mp4 Almost ready.. couple more days of work and it should be in the car ready for startup.
  5. V-cam and a 6466, you'll probably see full boost by 2,500 rpm ?
  6. Have a brand new RB26 bare head for sale. If you aren't aware, the prices have gone up since the beginning of April.. http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/cylinder-head-11040-05u00-suit-nissan-skyline-rb26dett-p-1651.html Location: Western Sydney Price: $2,800 FIRM Postage: Pickup or can arrange postage at buyers expense. Contact: PM
  7. Block back from bore + honing and now onto the engine stand, hopefully should be done in a couple of weeks.
  8. How did it go? Smile on your face?
  9. So finally the last pieces of the puzzle have arrived.. DLC Pins and Buckets! Block and all rotating assembly went to the machinist on monday to get all balanced and torque plate honed for the 86.5mm pistons, so that should be all done by mid next week, then we will be ready for assembly! Few weeks to go and we might be ready for startup
  10. Brand new release for 2019 and improved over GTX range i believe. Although have not seen any real world data just yet.
  11. Tunnel boring is finally done, and now onto a much faster/reliable machine shop to do the honing, balancing and assembly. Also upgraded to half inch mains and head studs.
  12. Cheers man! It's more so just for the alignment of the pump to the crank.
  13. So finally been getting somewhere recently.. Received all my parts back from Japan, just waiting on piston pins to come back from getting DLC'd.. Went with ATI 1000hp Balancer instead of the Ross due to some disturbing issues I have seen. All bottom end parts have been WPC treated. And now the block is getting line bored with this beast...
  14. I believe there will be a billet steel one coming out as well, although best to ask PRP to get an accurate answer.
  15. Haha never know, I'll be doing a few special things to it that not many have done in Aus. I picked one up for $300 from melb (23u block) and every cylinder wall was thicker than most RB26 blocks (05u, 24u) that Herman has seen and also hardness as well. He showed me a few blocks that he had there and the difference in thickness, hardness etc Certainly beats paying $6k for a 24u.
  16. btw have you thought about using an RB25 awd block? Cheaper and most probably stronger too
  17. I'm testing the first one (for RB26) so watch this space. We are almost finished just waiting on tunnel boring etc.
  18. Wait for the one piece PRP girdle w/main caps.. If testing goes good then they will be selling like hot cakes.
