Birds
Mate just bought a 135i, seems like a lot of car for the money. Handles and goes almost as well as my Skyline, but without the creaks and bumps and spine breaking On the list for potential new cars Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/379859-vic-wasteland-thread/page/1856/#findComment-6771701 Share on other sites

Leroy Peterson
still suffer from usual BMW problems. Big wheels and low profile soft compound tyres = high maintenance costs and common wheel damage from poorly maintained roads. High service costs, expensive insurance, and wank factor. alr33x
135i coupe over priced for what they are may as well spend the extra get a 335 coupe Orr get a m135 hatch massive amounts of win there. If you can afford one its clearly not an issue maintenance/insurance etc hate how people go on about that you want cheap servicing/insurance by a holden or a kia.. wank factor like a big look at me exhaust? Birds
Have they begun making them for men? Get used to it son...it's either stick it out with the 10+ year old Jap cars, join the hellaflush Commodores and Falcons, or Euro hot hatch it. Birds
135m has won best sports car two years running from RACV. The 1M much better though It's a solid little car and I found it to be about on par with the E46 M3 for performance/handling, which was the flagship performance BMW in it's day. Would have no issues putting 50k into one, but at the moment they are hovering in the low 50s at the lower end of the market. That engine has massive potential too...3 litre turbo in a what, 1400-1500kg car. Birds
335 still would present better value even in the second hand market and its a mans car Fk this man's / girl's car bullshit, do you really let stigma like that dictate what sort of car you drive? Some wanker in a 760 will call all of them girls cars... Leroy Peterson
sooooooooooooooooooooo.... like all of our cars? well played. my mrs' dad has one and as much as he loves the car, has had to replace a wheel or two and goes through a lot of tyres (not just the rears). But yeah, get some decent suspension, a set of wheels and tyres and it would be a great track car. Would need to do a bit of research into BMW brakes though, guy i work with has a 335 hard-top convertible in aqua and someone mentioned something about BMW using dated brake technology Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/379859-vic-wasteland-thread/page/1856/#findComment-6771912 Share on other sites
