i only have my cat, to keep me company through the cold winter nights

I don't have a pet.

inb4 defect op

I was at the last one last week or whenever it was, also at Morabbin Bunnings. TMU car was there when we rolled in on our bikes and my first thought was f**k this here we go... To my surprise, they sat in their car the whole time, a few of the organisers spoke to them about whatever, and EVERY single car (there was around 200) and bike (30-40) was well behaved when exiting, not even any flogs revving engines etc (and there was a lot of modified Fords/Holdens).

Not sure if the cops sent out EPAs to everyone the next day, but if not, they weren't cocksuckers for once.

We met in kindergarten :( were friends then, then went to different primary schools and didn't stay in touch. Nek Minnit same High School, Year 7 same homegroup together, good friends. All friends through high school. Get together at the end of 2010 and been madly in love since.

What I meant by haven't been single in 4 years, I broke up with my first GF and got with this girl shortly after as I'd been chasing her the whole time at High School (douchebag I know..)

Never ever lost a best friend before and this is killing me every day, been a month now since we broke up, but only really hit home in the last 2 weeks. I've cut all contact but f**k every day... stressed to the absolute hilt all because of this.

It's shit, no way around it. My ex, I was with her a few years earlier, didn't work out, then for the next few years I was still in love with her the whole time so I wasn't interested in meeting anyone else. Instead I just f**ked broad minded persons who I literally couldn't care less about.

Around 3 years later we got back together, and were together for a year...In the end it didn't work out, and it's been about 5 months now. Absolutely no contact since it ended because she hates me, but I'd never do anything to 'get back at her' or make her jealous etc. It's a massive shame it didn't work out because she was like a best mate as well as a girlfriend, but shit happens. I haven't slept with anyone since for whatever reason, but knowing it didn't work out with us, I can only hope she's happy now.

I know better than most that you don't wanna hear 'you'll be fine' or be told to go out and bang some broad minded person to forget about her.... But it'll get a bit easier as time goes by and maybe you'll find someone else who makes you as happy as she did. I don't think I will find that kind of relationship again so I'm not planning to be in another relationship again

If I read previous pages right and you are keeping ya distance no contact etc i think that's a bad idea gotta put up a fight brah doesn't sound like any damage has been done that can't be fixed

Worst case always go down swinging if she still doesn't see your right for her you can move on knowing its her loss

This is good advice.. I did this with my ex, similar situation to yours Borci except for the lifelong friends bit. She didn't want to get back together so I stopped talking to her.

Bit over 2 years later and she is engaged, I ain't even mad. Didn't think I'd ever be ok with it obviously, but time heals all wounds

You'll find another girl to love dezz...you may not be looking for a relationship, but one will find you again one day I bet. Time heals all that shit eventually and you never know who you're gonna meet in the future. I always thought the last ex was perfect for me until I meet the next gf and then realise she's even better. But this can be 4-5 years apart. You get good at filtering the qualities you like/don't like and you also tend to get less picky as age goes on = easier to find love again.

Sometimes it takes 6 months, sometimes 6 years, but memory loss and repression is a great thing!

Wow didn't know we were all lovestruck romantics...

^ lol was waiting for it... damn wu tang, where's hektik at? :P

3 cop cars at the Krispy Kremes when I left there about an hour ago... They'd been there since I arrived, just hanging out and making sure noone was doing skids etc...

Was a bit of a commo fest... but a bunch of lines, heeeaps of bikes as well :O

FC Hako installed. Found free version of FC Edit ftw. Can save/load/backup and edit an infinite number of tunes hoorah! Getting all fast and the furious with the laptops and the floorpans falling out now.

DANGER TO MANIFOLD

Yeah I know, all my mates are trying to help me through it, and every day I get a little stronger, it's just hard still as we did everything together, every day.

I put up a fight, the first week I thought give her some space, that the fight was ridiculous. Second week I got a little tired, tried to talk to her and see her every day. Third week I started getting emotional, telling her how much I love her and how things will change, tried everything. Now I think it's just time to resign to the fact that what's happened has happened, maybe it will be the best for our relationship and it'll fix itself, but maybe it won't and I have to move on. It's very hard for me as I'm not a quitter and have never ever let anything go, I always had the power and now I've got nothing.

Yeah, keeping my distance for now, she still contacts me every second day with something thats annoying her about me.

Like we didn't go out a LOT when we were together, she never had any money (no job), and I wasn't willing to pay for things for her EVERY WEEK.

So I've been out 2-3 times in the past couple of weeks, and she got angry at me last night that, I never went out with her, but now that I'm single I'm going out all the time and that pisses her off.

Do you know what I mean when I think that, it's like she says she doesn't love me and wants to move on, yet she still cares so damn much about my life as if she still wants to be a part of it..

I think if you still love her don't give up. Life's too short.

Trying, trying very hard.

    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
    • Hi,  Just joined the forum so I could share my "fix" of this problem. Might be of use to someone. Had the same hunting at idle issue on my V36 with VQ35HR engine after swapping the engine because the original one got overheated.  While changing the engine I made the mistake of cleaning the throttle bodies and tried all the tricks i could find to do a throttle relearn with no luck. Gave in and took it to a shop and they couldn't sort it. Then took it to my local Nissan dealership and they couldn't get it to idle properly. They said I'd need to replace the throttle bodies and the ecu probably costing more than the car is worth. So I had the idea of replacing the carbon I cleaned out with a thin layer of super glue and it's back to normal idle now. Bit rough but saved the car from the wreckers 🤣
    • After my last update, I went ahead with cleaning and restoring the entire fuel system. This included removing the tank and cleaning it with the Beyond Balistics solution, power washing it multiple times, drying it thoroughly, rinsing with IPA, drying again with heat gun and compressed air. Also, cleaning out the lines, fuel rail, and replacing the fuel pump with an OEM-style one. During the cleaning process, I replaced several hoses - including the breather hose on the fuel tank, which turned out to be the cause of the earlier fuel leak. This is what the old fuel filter looked like: Fuel tank before cleaning: Dirty Fuel Tank.mp4   Fuel tank after cleaning (some staining remains): Clean Fuel Tank.mp4 Both the OEM 270cc and new DeatschWerks 550cc injectors were cleaned professionally by a shop. Before reassembling everything, I tested the fuel flow by running the pump output into a container at the fuel filter location - flow looked good. I then fitted the new fuel filter and reassembled the rest of the system. Fuel Flow Test.mp4 Test 1 - 550cc injectors Ran the new fuel pump with its supplied diagonal strainer (different from OEM’s flat strainer) and my 550cc injectors using the same resized-injector map I had successfully used before. At first, it idled roughly and stalled when I applied throttle. Checked the spark plugs and found that they were fouled with carbon (likely from the earlier overly rich running when the injectors were clogged). After cleaning the plugs, the car started fine. However, it would only idle for 30–60 seconds before stalling, and while driving it would feel like a “fuel cut” after a few seconds - though it wouldn’t fully stall. Test 2 – Strainer swap Suspecting the diagonal strainer might not be reaching the tank bottom, I swapped it for the original flat strainer and filled the tank with ~45L of fuel. The issue persisted exactly the same. Test 3 – OEM injectors To eliminate tuning variables, I reinstalled the OEM 270cc injectors and reverted to the original map. Cleaned the spark plugs again just in-case. The stalling and “fuel cut” still remained.   At this stage, I suspect an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, caused during the cleaning process. This has led me to look into getting Frenchy’s fuel hanger and replacing the unit entirely. TL;DR: Cleaned and restored the fuel system (tank, lines, rail, pump). Tested 550cc injectors with the same resized-injector map as before, but the car stalls at idle and experiences what feels like “fuel cut” after a few seconds of driving. Swapped back to OEM injectors with original map to rule out tuning, but the issue persists. Now suspecting an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, possibly cause by the cleaning process.
