Sounds fun...

I'm putting tyres on mine on Saturday

actually came in before after doing one already, I'll have them all finished in a couple hours

Then going to redo them with silver paint instead of clearing the bare metal and having the same problem later on, masking them will be ever more fun

Trying to turn motor on the stand. spins around and something jams it against the stand.. that thing was my wrist.. fully dressed motor too.. wrist is all kinds of f**ked. Xray tomorrow. Who wants to give me a rub and tug?

Alarm key fob always keeps running out of battery, urgh. Will need to invest in some rechargeable or a stash of batteries now zzz

this plus every other electrical problem in my car.

re-connect battery after it goes dead in 2 weeks, alarm arms itself and you cant open any doors so gotta walk around the car for 15-20mins pressing the button to try and disable it. wish I could get removed, but brings down the premium :(

2 weeks... what else is there that's drawing power? you could test the current draw of the alarm / car with everything turned off

Since the battery has been dead before, it might have lessened capacity now... do you have a proper 3+ Stage Mains Plug-In Charger? Alternatively, you could buy one of those little solar panels which tickle charges when the car isn't running to keep it topped up :) Worked great for my dads old boat when we didn't go near it for a few months at a time.

Lol I've never come across an alarm that's ment to be good that has actually worked like it should!

I've had my siren literally explode battery's out of their holder twice which has caused it to be un-responsive to the key fob and the valet button inside.. I've had to cut the alarm out with a box cutter in the middle of the city to make it stop going off, I had it go off parked in my garage and it was unarmed which required I cut it out again to stop it.

Remote start neutral switch breaks every few months.. I could go on and on!

No wonder 'top of the range' viper alarms have lifetime warrantees, they break all the time.

You'll have to tell me what brand alarm to steer clear of when I get my next car!

Other week I'd discover that my 34 have a alarm and central locking when the guy I bought it off told me it's just a immobiliser :/

That was kinda handy.

Lol Grant, would do that but don't think it'll be such a good idea for Decca.

Eh, they'll be ok with duct tape, everyone knows it's the best thing ever.

Same here, battery in the siren exploded on my Viper, repaired under warranty. The USB rechargable fob is great though.

    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
