VF GTS is about 100k on road as far as I remember, pretty sure they come with AP racing brakes too?? (even though they probably say HSV on them)

My mates boss has one reckons its decent for a new stock car

Even still brah I don't think you'll get one for that they command a premium

especially 1 week before race wars

I'd hate to have 100k to spend on a car

Suck it up princess

f**king lol

So those playing at home, got the iPhone 5s.

Ported over my iphone 4 apps, photos and all in a couple of minutes.

No messing around, simple is best.

Bought a Nexus 5... Booted it up for the first time, "Would you like to install the apps which are currently installed on your Galaxy Nexus?" Yes plz. 5 minutes later everything is perfect.

Agreed, Simple is best.

N5 > IP5

That will be all. How are you liking it so far, Simon? I played with my mates the other day, quite smooth. I appreciate the slightly extra screen real estate over my N4 as well.

Tbqh it doesn't feel like I have a new phone. It's all the same as my 4s.

Barely notice the larger screen. Finger print unlock is fancy though.

I'm loving the nexus 5, it's not too big like lots of people have been saying... Considering I've come from a 4.65" Galaxy Nexus to the 5" Nexus 5 its not a huge jump in size...

Battery life is awesome, Push Email + Facebook notification + a few 10-15min phone calls + Whatsapp and SMS all day long, and I was coming home from an 8 hour day (plus an hour of driving each way) with 75%+ battery life

It's light, but still feels really solid and well made. If you're going to get one, I'd recommend the black. I got the white and now I can't use it in the garage like I'm used to :P My GNex I'd pick up with grease COVERED hands and zero fks given, just give it a wipe on my shirt when I was done... It's a bit trickier to clean black off the white back cover.

I'm honestly not sure how Apple manage to make so many people splooge over the most minor incremental upgrades... People rushing out to buy a $1000+ outright phone, sure its got a slightly faster processor... but all the apps are designed to function on the lowest common denominator (which is the lowest phone running the current OS, iP4S) so you don't really feel the power boost anyway... I'd love to buy a beer for the guys in their marketing department, they sure as hell know what they're doing :)

Edit: Speaking of keyboards... I've just installed a new one called Fleksy, really intuitive and easy to use (after the day or so of un/learning curve). Just wish it had some swype like functions as well. but other than that, its really accurate and smooth as butter.

C63 must be due for new model starting to look dated IMO

Aaron could confirm?

need aaron's insider information! :P

that's true. they black edition coupes are still hawt, though!

sounds good :)

my n4 isn't even a year old tbh, although given the price point i could upgrade to n5 for not much, i'll probably wait it out until the next gen of phones/nexus.

i use swype these days, good stuff. only thing i hate is the stupid lack of return key in the messaging app... but that is google's fault :P (i wonder if it's any different in hangouts... not sure i want to use hangouts)

    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
    • There is a guy who said he can weld me piping without having to cut chassis, maybe I do that ? Or do I just go reverse flow but isn’t reverse flow very limited once again?
