Any of you ordered from Just Jap lately? How long is their shipping time atm? Need something urgently..

Call them and ask? I've called them in the morning before to ask about a part and stressed the urgency... they checked stock levels then said to throw it through the webstore and they prioritised it and sent out before lunchtime.

Soho into Bailey's & Milk, you say... what sort of ratios we talkin'?

It started life as a shot, so in that form 1/3 each works well. Soho first, then milk...gives a fluffy/curdled texture. Then baileys (or Kahlua if you prefer a coffee taste) on top will give the "dirty" looking part. Hence the name Dirty Nappy.

As a sipping drink I would adjust the ratios in favour of more milk. And don't serve it to Asians.

Dirty Nappy CSB:

At one of our SAU Vic Mt Bulla cruises, we were playing drinking games of jenga (undefeated champion right here). We needed a shot for the losers and I mixed some random shit together. It came out looking like a dirty nappy, thus the name. Problem is, people actually liked it...so now I make it on the regular at parties :)

Still need to try Malibu and milk. I enjoy milk based alcoholic beverages muchly.

Hey Guys, is this car too good to be true? http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-1999/SSE-AD-2134462/?Cr=21&sdmvc=1

I'm in the market for a 34 non-turbo and this one looks good, a bit too good.

You think so? 4D Auto should be the cheapest of the lot lol.

Note, I have no compunction in saying that due to P Plater niche market, NA can hold their value (so no point comparing it against turbo prices, which are undoubtedly better cars, and are better value, but that's because it's a different kettle of fish, imo. If you're looking at turbos, there's just so much more options in that price bracket, etc.). However even with that said, I haven't checked the market lately, but think that's on the high side for 4D Auto.

Whilst that does look like a nice tidy example it is quite pricey indeed. Have seen NA auto taxis go for under 5k. If it was manual then sure the price, although still high would be somewhat more justified. If you wait a little while tough there's no reason you shouldn't be able to get a very tidy example for under 10k.

Lol, nah, I know the price is high, was going to go in hard and offer 8k, just to see a reaction. I wouldn't pay more than 10k for it, as there seems to be a few going for around there that look tidy. The few cheaper ones are a fair distance away, but I still think I'll go check this one out.

    • So for the wide band is a Bosch 4.9 correct for the Link G4+ along with a Can bus? Just get the Link gear or is generic ok too? Eg here: LINK LINK DIGITAL WIDEBAND CAN MODULE WITH BOSCH 4.9 SENSOR : KYP Performance House
    • Bit difficult to follow. Have a look below and see what the standard R32 layout was like. Note there was a restrictor in place immediately before "turbocharged pressure control solenoid" that, if removed, magically got you 1 bar boost.
    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
    • Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
