Offfsets aside, clearance to the actual circular wall of the wheel was the issue with my 17's... Wouldn't have been a problem at all with 330mm rotors and the 8 pots... but I ended up getting sent 356mm and a different mounting bracket to suit.

The 17" AVS Model 6's DID fit onto the hub, and it DID spin (but it was grinding on the top and bottom of the calliper... and would definately be bad times especially once the rim flexed a bit on a bump or the calliper expanded)

Hey MohMoh, want to buy some sick JDM 17" rims from me?

Anyone ever have a look at an indicator/lights stalk on a 34? Is it shared with anything?

Looks to have 3 plugs. One is missing. Indicators don't work. Except there's nothing on the loom that's unplugged.

Only thing recently removed was a Turbo timer. The turbo timer had exactly 0 plugs involved with it at all.

What in the actual f**k.

Have a look if the warning button is stuck. Happened to me a few months ago and I was wondering why the indicators stopped working. Turns out the warning button was so ever slightly pressed down :)

..... warning button?

I should state that the hazards work, the fuse is not blown, and there's actually very much a missing plug connected to the stalk. There's 2 of three things connected there and I'm pretty certain if I had a working R34 I'd pull the plug out and see if indicators continued to work... because everything else on the stalk works except indicators ;)

It could be actually, that's what I'm not entirely sure of. I've found it hard to find out what the problem actually is, or an exact wiring diagram of how indicators are wired in.. it not being a fog light equipped car would explain why there's a missing plug and a loom which has no obvious disconnected plug attached to it...

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
