Brad is not going to man up and take responsibility he will keep stuffing everyone around and doing what he wants. if anyone affected wants to know more send me a pm and i will be happy to talk about my dealings with Brad.

  • 3 weeks later...

Still owes me cash .. Lots

Blokes like myself and boz had verbal agreements ( brad always did a good "cash price "

so a lot of leeway )

I recently scrapped my r31 shell , turns out 4 years of brad's 'work' rendered it shit (anyone who wants to seek brads work I have heaps of pricks of the state he left my car in)

Always happy to chat with anyone who is considering anything to do with this special person

Brad has matched the shitkuntery of just china, I will continue to tell anyone I deal with my experience

That would require action on the part of the victims, which to be honest seems a little lacking here. Aside from whinging and throwing hands up in the air.

I know I'm rustling some feathers suggesting this, but have any of you REALLY pursued this? It's a rhetorical question, lower your pitchforks.

Part of the reason this all blew up is I spoke out after doing a heap of digging, making calls, constantly applying pressure, etc. Did I say constant? I meant constant. Let me say constant a few more times.

I realise some of you are busy, your time is worth more than the lost parts/money, etc, and for those people, you'll just have to accept that you're never going to see the parts or money with the occasional passive aggressive email/text/call/SAU post. Hell, even regular contact and quite obviously pissed was not enough to get him to give me my goods. It was daily harassment in the end, sometimes multiple times, that got me my parts.

Some of you need to spend more time focusing on him and less time worrying about if anyone else has got their stuff/money. You're not going to get anywhere that way.

I really feel for you guys, some of you are out of pocket a lot more than I was and have been for a lot longer time, but you will never get anywhere with it without a SUBSTANTIAL effort on your part. Brad has proven himself countless times, you know what you're dealing with and that should tell you how hard you're going to have to work. So either dig in and commit to it (like I did because it was a matter of principle) or forget about it, chalk it up to the risks of online trading and move on - and do as Fatz does and tell EVERYONE you know to stay away.

Thieving scumbag deserves jail time.

This.

Amazing the thief has been getting away with this for such a long time …I have seen other people getting touched up over much less.

Sincerely hope the guys who have lost a lot of money can recover their cash/parts.

So is now a good time to show some of my work ;)

Sucks to hear of so many people being ripped. Being in the fab business, it definitely isn't easy to make a good quality product and there aren't many people out there that take there that are prepared to spend the money for a quality job and even less which take the time, pride and care to do so and that is why so many people come and go.

Unfortunately people have to learn from others mistakes, but it will happen again because people forget in a few years and then someone else comes along and does the same thing....it happens since there is a constant supply of willing customers coming into the scene, innocent first timers, thinking they can build a car from behind a keyboard.

    • Ok guys thank you very much. GCG highflow it is then 🙂
    • forgot to mention that when it does this it does not kill the engine, but I have not kept the pedal down long enough to let it, as I see no reason to beat up on it as its got to be something simple, small and dumb causing this.  And as soon as I let off pedal, the engine returns to its normal super smooth operation and rpms re-stabilize quickly, once below 4k.
    • neither stumble or cut really seem to be an appropriate term....hard to explain its like a rev limiter but at 4k, but it violently shakes engine and entire vehicle as the rpms will not rise over 4k, even with slow acceleration. as soon as it hits 4k, it sounds like entire spark is lost entirely. plugs were 1.1 which I used as such, but later put in new plugs gapped down to .8 changed back after issue arose when I replaced the coils, still does it with either plug gap...damn and it was all running so good.
    • Oh how times have changed! I actually lean it out relative to my water/methanol injector duty cycle. The methanol adds a lot of fueling and you can then lean it out even more due to reduced knock.
    • Yeah my thoughts are the same, a well thought out WMI setup, would be slightly ahead of just straight E85 and you're also chemically intercooling the charged air, dropping it even further. This is why you need to add so much more fuel as soon as you spray. I remember someone taking me through their set up before (Dennis, has a R33, lives around Cabramatta - no idea if he's still around on this forum). He would target AFR 10:1 on 98, then as WMI ramped on, AFR would lean back up to 11:1. Amazingly, he did this all through his PowerFC, a relay to cut power to his EBC solenoid if there was not enough line pressure on his WMI kit. And of course, if there wasn't any boost made above gate pressure, you wouldn't be accessing the load cells with heaps of timing for WMI. One downside to that rudimentary setup, once the WMI came on, the EBC would unleash the dragon, and of course all the timing. Tyres would fry lol.
