Ummm like 50% of them. Isn't there like a 100k build on sau that was built for track, but then got a new paint job and sponsors and isn't Road legal and doesn't hit the track? It's usually at WTAC..... On display...

Saw one today in FTG, probably the same one

Yeah that's where we were. BUL-V10 was the plate. He certainly wasn't afraid of speeding tickets, but most Lambo owners wouldn't be.

I've been researching heaps lately, the one I'm about to get is the BlackVue DR650S-2CH

Great sound, build quality, front and rear camera, parking mode, gps, amazing night quality.
No screen, but you just open up the BlackVue Cloud app on your phone and connect to it to change settings, browse, playback or save the files.

This guy tests a lot of dash cams. This one is one of his recommend buys, though it's not cheap.

In Canada, where this guy is from, the OPIA2 looks to be about the same price as the DR650S-1CH, and the DR650S-2CH that I'm after (rear facing camera as well) is about $120 more

I bought the LCD backpack for my GoPro 1 for like $150 and that worked fantastically for framing and review. Added extra buttons and a speaker too, which made the interface much more friendly...all GoPros should come with them.

i had that as well and did like it.

however mine is mounted on the scaffolding in the back of the car, so I cannot get behind it anymore

or else I'm mounting under the number plate so cannot see back again.

so the bluetooth to phone makes life so much easier.

plus start and stop recording buttons when strapped in seat so not recording that 10 min sitting on pre grid

They've come a long way since version 1 which had the market to itself and made a household name. Then they had to play catch up on features a bit like Apple with the iPhone

Speaking of, I wonder if anything will ever dethrone Google...cannot imagine it happening.

They will likely attempt to buy out and integrate anything that they perceive as superior.

    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
