515kw @ 30 psi 109,000 RPM turbine speed.

Stock head not too happy and very close to 116,000 max speed

Next stop 32psi

Wasn’t it a stock bottom end with a built head?

its got more in. Definitely does, BUT:

- I've got a stock bottom end

- I'm running 35psi on the fricken thing with ARP 2000 studs

- AND I'm already past the recommended turbine speed.

580kw @ 35 psi will do me.

Will put up dyno sheet in due time.

All I see are excuses :)

Should go very well, keen to see how fast it traps. What dyno is it?

Jem dyno. Should see 140mph.

That's what I told them. Dyno figures can be up down left right. My target was 140mph.

Will be out to WSID when I can to run it.

That is a huge result - nice work! When do you pick it up? Keen to hear how you find it.

I assume the 580kw run is a glory run - while you probably know it anyway  would recommend dropping it down a little just to be safe, the extra 20kw on a stock motor probably aren't worth the strain.

It's an awesome result even at 116krpm.  The compressor obviously still can move more air but what the concern is that it has to work harder and harder to move any more air, which means at the point you are at the turbo rpm can start spinning a lot faster for much smaller increases in airflow which is where the overspeed thing comes from.

Cheers for sharing the results - wicked to see and some good data there :)

Will try pick it up tonight and comment on how it's behaves in the road.

Staying at 35psi. Now I'm tempted to have a crack at running a 9 haha.

580kw is at 7000RPM. I'm getting 35psi by 5500RPM.

Going to try and get an overlay on the 8374 dyno and 9180 dyno runs and share it.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
