niZmO_Man replied to powerdbygarrett's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I've seen one piece and two piece replicas. Not sure on brand/quality, but hit up aliexpress. -

My 91 Gtr R32 stutters and it has stalled..
niZmO_Man replied to Jcmz's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
A range of things. Need more info regarding your car (mods, any servicing you've had done, what sort of driving condition when the stalling occurs). Usually it's fuel (pump or injectors), spark (plugs, coilpacks, ignitors, wiring), or tune/ECU related. Can also be [bad] idle control. -
The heater on my R32 will only blow at the face vents

That's probably the buttons acting up. Mine does that sometimes. -

R32 GTR Pads, Rotors, Lines?

Intima SR are awesome for street driving. Give it a big hit and it bites hard. -
Can't you change the offset to +11 GMT, or does it go off the GPS?
-
Then YJ will be fine.

I have yellowjackets and they work fine But my engine is standard, standard boost. If you're going to push it, Splitfire or new OEM.

Removed R32 Hicas System, no power steering
niZmO_Man replied to tommy517's topic in General Maintenance
See: Step 4: Removing the HICAS warning light Of that guide. -
Well I had an older GE62 with GTX 765M and a DVD drive. They must've replaced the optical drive with a HDD. MSi seems to have a few different variants, GT is fat, GS is slim with small battery, GE is an in-between. What I did find is that MSi spec vs price was very good. Heat management was sometimes worrying as my one had a left side firing exhaust port, so playing on the couch sometimes got uncomfortable.

Did you unplug just the small plug on the HICAS computer (in the boot) and left the big one plugged in? -
Have you checked out MSi? I probably mentioned it in this thread, but they are well build machines. Can't comment on Metabox, never used or seen lol.

On the R31 the leads don't go close enough to the exhaust.

R32 Sideview mirror shakesites while driving
niZmO_Man replied to Ed.williams5's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Eh? The R32 motorised side/wing mirrors have two screws that can spin itself off (on mine, the inner one comes off) and the mirror sort of hangs/flops.- 5 replies

Best performance street tyres
niZmO_Man replied to vxsr33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I'm pretty sure RS3 and RE003 are in different categories. "Best" street tyre is arguably the Michelin Pilot Super Sport or AD08/RE-01. -
Let's see what I get on March, I'll call up NRMA and try to get a discount.

R32 Sideview mirror shakesites while driving
niZmO_Man replied to Ed.williams5's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Under the mirror, little rectangular panel, pull it off and tighten the screws. Removing the door card and then unbolting the mirror makes it easier (sorry haven't been on here the whole week). Yes loctite is handy, my passenger one keeps drooping because of one screw lol (I should put Loctite on it).- 5 replies
