  1. - Check the underside and rails - Check for rust - Check for dodgy mods
  2. GT-R tax brewwww
  3. Is that a CF cover on the strut tower, or was it replaced with a CF panel? Either way, insane!
  4. I think Prestige Motorsport brought it in a while back.
  5. Scrap the whole testing thing and then copy Germany's system. Of course that won't happen, because it'll mean actual, real work for the RMS :P. I guess it might differ state to state, but it's piss easy to get a license in NSW. Hell I've seen "driving instructors" with bad driving (I waste my time/money with one). Throw everyone into a VR room and a driving simulator, then take them out onto a skid pan. Teach them about car maintenance and how it affects their safety. Not this "slow down, slam your brakes if you see a cop on the other side of the highway" crap.
  6. From my observations driving around Sydney (thank the gods that's over, I train it to work now), the worst drivers were the 30-50 years old range. Combination of bad driving habits (including slow reactions), distractions, and generally oblivious to their surroundings. Second were international drivers/taxi drivers haha. But I think that's because of the sheer number of drivers on the road at that time.
  7. $32,000 as per first post.
  8. Aussie R31? Might be AFM. Check the CAS as well (I'd pull the dizzy cap off, remove the rotor thingy, remove the plate and inspect the disc, it might have rust on it from the bearings).
  9. Incoming F20C engine conversions?
  10. Only two effective solutions: 1. Train the drivers more, i.e. more stricter tests and licensing (e.g. renew license with test every 5 years). 2. Fully autonomous cars/vehicles, (mostly) remove the human element. Blaming speed is the cheap and easy way out. You spend almost nothing on training drivers, and drop a heap of speed cameras everywhere to generate revenue.
  11. From memory, factory R32 GT-R camber settings are -0.5° front and -1.5° rear.
  12. Yep, typical import hunting, 95% are crap, but the owners think they're gems.
  13. Driver training is good. I heard a tip off a fellow member (who got it from the instructor) to look ahead at the next corner, instead of watching the corner you're already in.
  14. ^ I can't see that picture (Firefox desktop)
  15. No idea man, I never bought anything that large. If you're prepared to wait, then you can get stuff sent via sea, which should be cheaper.
  16. My HKB boss kit works fine, after many years.
  17. Very nice mate
  18. Just do skid pan and track days. I learnt more from one session of a wet track day than I did the entire time I held a license.
  19. These have quite good halogen projector headlights.
