  1. OP it appears you may have an oil cooled turbo. Or an n/a.
  2. Although i will add, bc's coming out of the same factory as greddy's does show you don't need to pay top $$, but consider minimum production cost for materials, manufacturing, engineering etc. They can only go so low before cutting corners.
  3. This is it. I'd be surprised if you get too many people on here who have bothered using coilovers that cheap and nasty. It might be at the track but you can still crash and kill/damage other stuff around you. Maybe not track your car with cut springs and fkd shocks either; racing is not a cheap sport, for good reason.
  4. right...so all I have to look forward to, is disappointment...just like life in general. Wow thanks for brightening a Sunday evening....
  5. seems that's exactly it. Their "lack of staff in the office" to deal with the matter, is not my problem.. All i'll say is, I have a refund from them now, and also have an ATKKD kit from Justjap on my car which fits EXACTLY as it should. Works great, and as always I got very good service and communication from them.
  6. it is indeed. had Rs3's for a few months and yeah they're not bad, but...ad08r's now on all four wheels and wow..I can honestly say, never experienced anything like it. Best tyre I've ever used.
  7. a long time ago, Jesus invented magnets, after he killed off the dinosaurs, and then removed any mention of them from the Bible. A magnet may or may not work.
  8. If it is plugin for r33 gtst, it will suit s1 and s2.
  9. Ahaha lol i misread it. Well i have a spare valve body here suitable for rebuild that we could build up for your car.
  10. was thinking, your manual box and gear for my shift-kitted auto, if you're looking to swap to an auto already upgraded.
  11. I used a transgo kit with some custom tweaks to it. Kit was only $85 bucks, plus fluid and gaskets cost. There is a thread on it here in the transmission section. You're not in Brisbane by any chance? We might be able to do a trade...
  12. Not without spending a fortune. A shift kit will transform it but still 500ish unless you do the work yourself.
  13. The only one worth considering though, is a 1 piece item like the Ultra Racing brace.
  14. well, actually it does matter...are you new to our legal system ?? the law very much takes into account the severity of an incident on an individual basis, and the circumstances surrounding it. Anyway - drag racing - on the streets, come on. It's no place for it. Drag racing is cool to watch but it's a bit "fuuuuark that was sick!!!" next run.. "yeahhhh that was sick" then "that was pretty cool" then " ok now i'm bored, when's the motor racing on"..
  15. Ass-uming you mean on stock ecu? No, you can do basic boltons on stock ecu. Issue is more when you start to increase the boost.
  16. Johnson rod, going into steering column boot.
  17. And i wouldn't ever buy a non adj.swaybar ever again, cos u will end up 2anting adjustable. Superpro do a good bar in 22mm adj.
  18. it may also be worth seeing if someone like CBC bearings stock a bearing that can be fitted to the tops, rather than having to buy a whole new item.
  19. BNE - rb25det to suit rebuild Rb25det bottom end out of R33 Skyline - block is in good order, crank is good but superficial scuffing to no.3 rod journal where rod spun a bearing - only shallow marking so will be fine for engine rebuild. Have the stock rods, and 4x stock pistons (have used the other 2), and sump. Apart from oil pump which is yours if you want it, this is just the parts listed, no balancer, manifolds etc. Had bought this to do an engine rebuild but ended up rebuilding the engine already in the car. Not really keen on shipping, prefer local buyer in Brisbane - $150.
  20. thanks Kiwi, they look alright actually. Have ordered the only new starter I could find online in stock, which was Auto8 brand. Not 1000% on the quality but will see once it arrrivederci's, will get the oem one rebuilt if needed.
  21. look...this one ain't rocket-scientifical. pull shit off/move shit out of the way till you can reach the hose, then replace with any decent 6/8 mm(can't remember what size but think 6mm) quality hose of required length. No way i'd gen. Nissan for this, it's only a mild bend that most free-length hose can cope with. Yeah it's tight but welcome to JDM. Replace said shit that you moved out of the way. Fine for another 10+years.
  22. yes I did notice a difference going from a magnaflow 200 metal cat to a 100 cell Venom, in a 5in? (been a long time since I had any reason to recall) body, and I'm nowhere near the power level you are so it should help. Not sure of the emissions legality of it though. Just hoping to plead ignorance "but I have a cat fitted" if it ever comes to that, rather than going decat pipe (which in my experience on my old car, make a huuuuuge difference that can't be beat, no matter how many articles on it Hot 4's etc publish, claiming otherwise.)
  23. bumping this up, anyone know a decent starter motor available in Oz for the RB engines lately? The Bosch motor BXM034N that is listed for skylines is definitely NOT suitable and Bosch tell me they don't actually make one for Skylines despite what it says on their page. Genuine Nissan is $700+, I hear nothing but bad things about the OEX brand, and can only find Auto 8 brand which looks like it will fit, but might be a bit cheap n nasty?
  24. and this Kenny Ken set is getting me uncontrollably aroused, in a musical sense, 30min in.
  25. funny this should come up. My vinyls of DRI- Crossover, Slayer - Reign in Blood and Sepultura - Beneath the Remains have gotten a few plays lately.
