They installed a Turbosmart Boost Tee that day because the EBC was playing up... I can't really tell you how it is hooked up sorry :/

Other mods are:

Greddy Front Mount Intercooler

3" Full stainless steel Fujitsubo exhaust and stainless steel front pipe with 3" Venom 200cpi hi-flow cat

Nistune ECU

Nismo High-Flow Volume Fuel Pump

HKS Panel Filter

well it is definately an issue with the boost controller or it's plumbing, hopefully they aren't getting you to pay for labour while they learn to do it properly. Boost control is a pretty simple system

Just got some Michelin Pilot Sport 3s put on my car and a full alignment - it already feels like I'm going to love these tyres! More compliant than the Federal 595s, decently quiet (roughly the same as the Feds), and very confidence inspiring so far. Can't wait to put some kays on them and give them some more stick and also try them in the wet.

Lol dude, same here.

One of my all time, least favourite bike tyres...

+1 for that had them years ago on zzr swore i would not have them again then when i got my old gsxr it had them on it but not for long.

Running kuhmo ku36 on the stag at the moment 19s and i really cant complain they stick well wet or dry bit noisy but after gate has been opened a couple of times i cant hear s@#t any way , and they where cheap to boot

Havent done it to it yet, but I bought a new high pressure hose from bunnings which also came with a foam lance... the only rare occasion that I have been excited about cleaning the Stagea..

So it is most likely a leak somewhere? I would be surprised if they didn't install the Tee properly, but then again stranger things have happened...

^^slight leak from turbo manifold gasket?..thats what mine was, never held boost up top since i imported it

thought it was my faulty ebc,as it had been sitting around for 6 yrs , put on bleeder, same shit

cheers

Installed a JVC KDR736BT deck in the Stagea. A big thanks to Kenwood and JVC for using the same loom plug barring a single pin which is devoted to the (not in use) remote button/steering wheel control. I had the soldering iron, heat shrink, electrical tape and other bits and pieces out but all I needed was a phillips head screwdriver.

JB Hifi have 30% off headunits so it was hard to knock back this unit at $122 vs $178 or the alleged rrp $349. The neat thing about this deck is it can connect two phones at once and a more modern IPod/Iphone control than the previous Kenwood deck.

I picked up my new M35 last Friday :)

After a 6-7 year absence from owning an import I am back and happy as Larry.

I'll post some pics after it stops raining and I've had a chance to give it a wash.

The storms here have been arse up. The worst ever.

Had to get the SES to come and chain saw the trees in the driveway so I could go to the bottle shop.

Damn inconsiderate of Mother Nature.

Was so blest the tree that came down just missed the Stags in the drive.

inconsiderate? but now you have fire wood for winter and someone came and cut it for you

hope everything is ok up there, pretty wet down the bottom of the hill but not much happened here

Damn those Swedes and their keenly priced flatpack temptations.

And their carpark.

I resent that.. ;)

Too bad about the paint though.. What was the cause?

    • The wiring diagram for the R33 RB25 is freely available, and is essentially the same same as most other RBs (just with differences as to which pin # does which job). To get the ECU to power up, you just need to provide power to the ECCS relay, and have the other power feeds that come in from the top left of the wiring diagram (wrt the ECU) that give perma power to the fuel pump relay, the ECU itself, etc etc, all connected. When you put power on all these it will just come to life. It's pretty clear from the diagram what needs to happen. Just follow the lines from the 12V + supply stuff in the top left over towards the ECU. I've even posted snips of such diagrams (not for vanilla 25, I think for Neo and 26) to various threads here in the last few months, talking about what it takes to get the fuel pump and FPCM up and going. Search these up and they will help get you started on doing the same with the vanilla 25 diagram. Hell, for all I know, I've done the same with that one in years past and have forgotten.
    • Yep...so unless someone posts up the answer you will need to probe from the ECU connector to the dash plug with a multi meter in continuity mode to trace the wires.  Note the ECU has multiple - and + (and across different key settings - Battery, IGN and Start) and most likely the power is fed from the connector(s) that is normally near the left hand headlight.
    • Thanks Duncan, I am actually just trying to get the Rb turning and running with the RB25DET S2 original loom itself  I am just trying to get it going outside the body and not thinking about the S15 or trying to match anything to the S15 loom at all I am only trying to see if anyone has done this and what pin they found to be the ignition trigger and ECU+/- on the dash connector, that's about it. Thanks
    • Hi Guys, Does anyone know any aftermarket part numbers for a starter motor to suit the VQ25DET? I can find lots of alternative part number for the VQ35DE, which I assume would fit, but there is a lot of conflicting information out there. Thanks..
    • I don't understand how this hasn't boiled down to - Upgrade the turbo when you have everything required. ECU, injectors, fuel pump, turbo, etc. Do it all at once.  If you don't have everything required, just enjoy the car as it is and keep saving up your pennies.
