Oh and...Ralph Macchio aka The Karate Kid, is now as old ad Pat Morita (Mr Miyagi) was in the movie. Do you feel old now?

Pulsars are nice pity SSS isn't turbo. Did thought about Pulsar GTI-R, but you get more value for money from WRX over GTI-R.

GTiRs havent aged well and few havent been mistreated either. Though I do know someone who is selling a kinda unfinished project one cheap

http://forum.pulsar.org.au/showthread.php/98344-GTI-R-for-sale

or you could get the 300kw pulsar for $15k

http://forum.pulsar.org.au/showthread.php/89058-N14-Pulsar-SR20DET-(290KW-for-16k)

hasnt updated the post ina while but is E85 now

Can't see it, need to log in, cbf doing that.

How cheap is the GTI-R?

my friend broke up with his gf after 7 years just last week :/

At work I always ask the bride to be how long she's been with fiancé before getting married...varies anywhere from 3 to 10 years, but most are at least 5+ years. Crazy to think that a 7 year relationship could end and then what, assuming you start over again you gotta wait another few years to know if you wanna marry someone!

I reckon once I hit 25 I'll start to feel old :P

Bro I started feeling old after 21. When I started going to clubs and seeing people who looked like they were still in high school, I became old. But meh, I don't act my age anyway.

That's life...

Can clutch / gearbox brahs suss my thread in drivetrain section plz

What kind of rattle? When does it happen; clutch pedal pushed in or clutch pedal out? Or both?

There's a spring that holds the fork in place to prevent vertical movement, but the top of your pivot ball may also be damaged or broken.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
