How bad is the damage? Just the bumper or potential chassis?

The lower back panel and floor panel have been pushed in, as well as damage to the LHS rear quarter :(

A bit difficult to see but in the pic, you can just make out the offset of the boot to the body.

Since the other douchebag had no insurance and I have to go through my own cover, I'm now required to obtain quotes from different panel beaters, as oppose to just taking it to my preferred place.

The guy was tailgating me as I approached a round-about. I could tell he was too close but it was either I kept driving and get t-boned from another car going around or stop in the hope he'd stop too :/

If people have no insurance, then why do they drive so erratically? So stupid

Yesterday I got rammed from behind by a guy in a Lancer, then we exchanged numbers :turned:

This happened to me today :( A p-plater girl hit the back of my car as I was stationary at the traffic lights. Her car had basically no damage, but mine had scratches on the bumper and the back of the car is moved in. Since my car was in mint condition I'll be making sure the repair is 100%, will also get the panel beaters to include a wheel alignment in there as it feels slightly off now. Luckily she has insurance (apparently) so I'm hoping to get it taken care of soon.

Yep, also had the floor panel pushed back, it wasn't snapped, but it was hard to get out and I can't get it back in until the back of the car is fixed. Luckily nothing else seemed damaged.

Feeling your pain, dude.

The insurance company has been quite helpful, so fingers crossed it's a smooth process in getting your beast repaired.

Since her insurance will be paying for the fix, I think you can take it to your preferred repairer :D and it'll be all sorted.

P for pathetic :P

is there a wheel well in the boot? so boot itself not caved in or anything?

Yep, I asked her how she think it happened, didn't really get a response haha

I don't think the boot is caved in, it looks to be just the metal where the "Skyline" badge is (I think bumper support?) that is caved in. There is a local repairer just around the corner that looks decent, so might go there tomorrow. I wanted to get a wheel alignment soon anyway, so I guess I'll get them to include that.

farkin mohsen sending me shit!

Hey plattsy, now I know how I will prank all my friends who leave their phones lying about without pin codes. Random numbers asking for cock pics.

Hey man, don't be ragging on the P.

    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
    • There's not a great deal to report here .... except ...... FOR .... LSD!!!  I bought a Quaife LSD from the UK and shipped it here .... Wish I'd just bought locally cause the shipping and duty was $700! But there were so many diffs used in the E90s I just wanted to be absolutely certain I was getting the right one so I spoke with a supplier in the UK who builds race cars and they have heaps of experience with the E90s.  I pulled the diff out which was seriously awesome - I've never done anything like that before, I must have watched 1000 videos on YT about it as well as consulting the Bentley manual. It was super easy in the end. The diff was delivered to the awesome folks at Hornsby Diffs and will be back in a few weeks. I also replaced the diff bushings with some Nolathane ones.  Really looking forward to getting it back and getting back to the track or even the skidpan.
    • yeah... the 13kg/mm springs weren't always in there, I had 10kg/mm but doing a few SMSP commanded heavier front springs. It's so good now going into T1 and T2, just need more seat time and real tyres.
