I removed all my tint many months ago now... I miss it... but it's awesome being able to see at night!

So glad to be rid of the horribly scratched blue crud...

Also, dear son of rajab... removing it from the rear window with windex and glad wrap on the inside...then a heat gun on the outside of the glass to boil the windex against the tint...

If you've never been high on windex before, good. I don't recommend it!

I was considering being lazy enough to just remove all the glass out of the doors of my old car and put it back into the new car, so I didn't have to worry about getting tinted windows.

Unsure if this actually constitutes being lazy, though....

I have 20% all round and factory headlights... Driving at night is fine

I'm a man though

factory headlights are better... the HID's just light up a narrow column in front of the car... kinda like a tunnel

I'm having a hard time finding a light bronze tint. Or any bronze tint for that matter. Emailed a mob who distributes some of the better brand of tint and they told me they can only get the charcoal, black and clear products in Aus :(

I believe it's the latter. There's no regulation on coloured tint, just can't be mirror finish. I did find a local manufacturer who do bronze tints in 70%, 50% & 35% before I was making serious enquiries and now I can't find them :/

Steer clear the finance company will not tell you the payout figure and you run a risk of the seller not paying the finance.. by law the bike can be repossessed without any question

The amount of cars I have had repossessed from a third party is actually quite surprising

Edit: if you pay the purchasing amount to the finance company and it doesn't cover the outstanding they will still repo

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
