Best that night was 11.1@132mph with a 2.1 60" :(

Car weighed in at 1682kgs without me and I'm 108kgs

Car has gone 10.8 @132mph with a 1.7 60"

When you feel the front moving sideways as well you can be fairly sure the 4WD does work, eventually lol, it still needs more bleeding, it is just been a PITA this time for some reason :/

I would definitely be bleeding out ur 4wd, 2.1 60' is rwd territory not 4wd, something is not right.

Mine barely spins in 2nd on prepped track, and the only way it will spin in 3rd is with 4wd turned off.

How much power on ur 10.8second run?

You end up spending more time fighting the car to keep it straight then putting down good lap times

I went to the drags last week for shits and giggles and it had no tractions 1st 2nd and most of 3rd on 24psi which is about 440kws on a prepped track, now imagine that every time you come out of a corner and try to put the power down one a surface that isn't prepped for extra traction

Can be done don't get me wrong it's just not a fun experience if you are looking for a good lap time, 4WD skids then it is awesome fun, at 380kw I was drifting the fishhook in 4WD when it finally started to work ( not bleed completely so 4WD takes its sweet arse time to activate) at wakefield while peddling it

If that's the case, why are you going for turbos that will do 500 kW or more?

It was a cold night on 295/30/18 Z221s which I just could not get heat into hence why I am putting the 265s on, there is a film clip of it launching and spinning the fronts so they are working they are just taking longer then they should to activate

It was definitely spinning all 4 through 2nd and most of 3rd as it was snaking pretty big all the way through those gears

i

Is that in a r32?

I would look at your 4wd system, i ran 10.6 sec @ 136mph on 235 federal tyres, only traction issues are off the line in 1st gear.

R34, I'm going to bleed it again before wednesday but when I get back from ringwood this weekend the OS88 will be going in and I'll have to do it again

I think the problem is more the tyres and how cold the track was, stone cold semis don't work so good, I also don't have a 2WD switch so no way of getting any heat into them :/

My 34 is 280kg heavier then my 32 :/

Are both ur cars rb30?

Arent the r34 supposed to be faster reacting 4wd systems with more preload?

Maybe try some street tyres instead of the semis, i had no luck with bridgstone semis

Only 34 has 30, 32 is still stock motor stock turbos

Faster computer but still need the system to be bleed correctly to work properly

I only have 275/35/19 RS-3s as street tyres which have a much bigger diameter or two sets of semis

I'm waiting for the 265 semis to wear out so I can fit the 265/35/18 AD08Rs to those rims

You seen GTRNUR's results in the build thread pete, seems relevent to your situation some what, a 6466 that was maxing out with 98 at around 380ish , but he's getting full boost much earlier than your 4000rpm goal ...

What tyre pressure did u run?

30 rear 32 front, it is what you have to run with these tyres to get even contact across the tread

Wait whos thread is this? Lol

Pete....... Where are you? ;)

We will see 100 pages one way or another dam it  lol

    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
