So the 30K was her quote to fix.

they disputed it and had them do cheaper repairs on some areas than she wanted to get the cost down.

know she wasn't happy with the first time getting it back, and then issues after they attempted to fix that, not sure where it at now however.

Bit of both

It's a visitor space he's parking in (even though he's a permanent visitor; his girlfriend lives in the complex) and the guy in the visitor space next to him is parked a fair way over too. His car is simply too big for the limited space left for him. If I wasn't hugged up against the other side of my space to keep my distance from the visitor cars (clearly this is working) then his oversized hipster douchebag utility wouldn't even get in there.

My black car doesn't move so I don't care about him blocking me in, but I've seen the way this kid drives, like a fkin retard, and I don't like it, or seeing him park this close to my car. I don't believe someone is guiding him in and it's only a matter of time before he hits a car down there.

Barry believes it, with E85. RB26s with 98 make about 340-350 with GT-SS.

It's pretty unlikely but you sha'll find out in time, we built a RPM 2.8 with -9s and it made 360kw on E85. I think it could have been pushed harder than that for sure with the right fuel setup and exhaust.. but 400.. pretty unlikely with those turbos without straining them.

Interesting

Steve 34R aka R8TED only made 317kw on the racepace dyno on e85 and -9's. Not sure what the norm is, maybe Matt Borci will throw in his 2 cents

Must be thinking of someone else, Steve's never been to Racepace. I remember he did make like 235kw when he switched to E85 and a tune he was telling me at Sandown last time I was there... was hard to hold back the chuckles at less than stock 98 power with Ethanol...

That might be Hamish's racepace dyno theory coming into play

Previous owner of GTR dynoed it with the GT-SS and said he got about 350awkw - could easily have been full of shit but even close to that I can see another 50kw from another 400cc and E85.

In any case I'm not too worried - I have no doubts I'll end up with -5s down the track but definitely wanna see what the small turbos can do in the low and midrange with the big engine. I think it'll be linear like standard XR6 turbos, only with a bucketload more pull.

Also when you say "we built" you really don't need to call it an "RPM 2.8" lol

They can throw a pair of turbos on any old 2.8 that rolls in the door, the RPM 2.8 is a specific base build so we at least know what mods have been done to make it a 2.8, if its been ported, etc

My bad he just mentioned racepace in his comments.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
