so a couple of things on that.
1 it's NSW so DEZZ is still safe.
2, those hourly rates are how much it costs, not earnings. remembering in most cases they need tools, insurance, a vehicle to travel in advertising blah blah blah so the real take home salary is not going to be that high. (not saying they are broke or anything but that is hiding some info)
3. the big issue I see with friends who are trades, is now they are getting past the 40 mark they are looking at what next. it's hard to think of climbing though roofs and things when your late 60s, where as I can comfortably sit on my ass behind a desk to retirement age.

Only reason I posted it was to point out the lack of dezz.
Lol that article.
Removalists will be lucky to do more than 2 jobs a day and generally only charge a few hours. Most of their pay comes in the form of gatorade, instant coffee and arrowroot biscuits.
Weekends would be busier, but just sayin.

Also I'd be lucky to get my group certificate before August. #smallbusinesslyf
Still havent done last year's... Most receipts are probably faded now anyway, so won't make many claims. Oh well.

Got mine on June 29th. Though it was something else as it's never been that early before.

Potential $1,050 fine for your late lodgment.

Also group certs are legally supposed to be given to you by 14th July.

When are they due? Quick Google doesn't bring up that info... They talk about paying off ATO debts

I'll hit up my boss.

Keysborough man. I bought Subie Outback. Is nice. But only quick in comparison to my old corolla.

The Subarus are a quality piece of kit these days. Actually driving a 90s Liberty made me get my Skyline after seeing the feel and build quality. I still can't do the family car thing though - baby seat in the GTS-T now.

Wrx engine swap will fix it.

3.6l flat six is good for now. The US boys do a supercharger kit for it though. And there's a bloke that does live tuning over wifi in the Bahamas lol.

Meanwhile I'm just gonna rice the f**k out of it.

Electrician at work is looking to get a Focus RS. But still in consideration phase.

I told him I know a guy who considered one but went STI and he said that guy should have his dick cut off.

He's one of those special units who is not quite kiwi, not quite aussie, not quite pommy. So I don't know what to make of his opinion. Thoughts?

I don't think he was making a sexually transmitted infection joke, he's not witty enough for that kind of pun.

My boss just upgraded from his 2010 ford territory he's had since new. 430,000kms and only issue has been rear diff imploding due to diff cooler filling it up with coolant. Not a bad run. Upgraded to new Ford ranger.

Break out the arduino and ws2812b individually addressable rgb led strips. It's like neons, but with 300% more rgb for maximum rice.

    • I don't think the shuffle can damage the turbos. It only happens at low shaft speeds and loads. It's just annoying (to some people - others are tickled by the effect) and it quite possibly reduces spool performance a little bit.
    • Oh dear. The panel beating needs to be done before the filler work. Do you have a photo of the dent before you started? Hard enough to not flex and only hit the high spots?  What do you mean it was just temporary?
    • Can u check this way it works for power supply?
    • These coils draw 10amps that what i read online
    • I appreciate the detailed explanation, think I understand now. I spent the better part of last night reading what I could about shuffle and potential solutions. I had replaced the OEM twin turbo pipe with an alternate Y pipe that is separated further away from the turbo. The current one is from HKS and I had a previous pipe that was separated even further away, both have shuffle. I had heard that a divider can be welded in to the OEM pipe to remove turbulence, and figure that aftermarket pipes that are more separated would achieve the same thing. From what I read, most people with -10 turbos get shuffle due to their size, though it's a bit less common with -5s on a standard RB26. I think Nismoid mentioned somewhere it's because OEM recirculation piping is common in Australia with -5 cars. It seems that the recommendation tends to vary between a few options, which I've ordered in what I think is most feasible for me:  1. Retune the MAP or boost controller to try to eliminate shuffle 2. Install OEM recirculation piping 3. Something called a 'balance pipe' welded onto the exhaust manifolds. I don't know if kits for this are available, seems like pure fabrication work 4. simply go single turbo My current layout is as follows: Garrett 2860 -5s HKS Racing Suction intake MAF delete pipes HKS racing chamber intake piping hard intercooler piping,  ARC intercooler HKS SSQV BOV and pipe Haltech 2500 elite ECU and boost solenoid/controller HPI dump pipes OEM exhaust manifolds HKS VCAM step 1 and supporting head modifications Built 2.6 bottom end All OEM recirculation piping was removed, relevant areas sealed off I'll keep an eye out for any alternative solutions but can get started with this.  Only other question is, does shuffle harm the turbo (or anything else)? It seems like some people say your turbo shafts will explode because of the opposing forces after a while and others say they just live with it and adjust their pedal foot accordingly.
