Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines

Recommended Posts

what is a good offset for a 18*8 rim for a R32 GTS-t also was thinking of having 235/40/R18 fronts and 265/35/R18 rears. is this a good idea

thanks

if you want 265 on the rear go for 9' wide on the rear,

anything with an offset between +30 and +38 will be fine (if i remember right stock is +35 front, +38 rear)

ne here rollin on 20's ? or are u all on 17s and 18s

Skyline model = V35 Sedan

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 7"

Wheel offset = 45

Tyre size = 215/55/17

Modifications to fit = Non car is stock at the moment.

Have you tried to buy 20" wheels in the right width and offset for a skyline or any car for that fact.

I am looking to fit

Front 20 x 8.5 +35 245/35/20

Rear 20 x 9.5 +45 275/30/20

So far have only found one set but everyone at the office thinks they are ugly.

My car is pearl white.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

R33 GTSt

Wheel type= Rays Gramlight 57S

Wheel diameter = 18''

Wheel width = 8.5 Front, 9.5 Rear

Wheel offset = +30 Front, +38 Rear

Tyre size =235/40/18 Front, 265/35/18 Rear

The car has stock suspension, no mods to fit; no rub on front at full lock, rears still fit in guard no overhang at top. No need in really going much bigger on a R33 GTSt but that hasn't stopped any one before. whatever, whatever.

everyone at the office is correct

Not the help I was looking for but everyone is entitled to their own opinion even if they only have 17's :laughing-smiley-014: .

V35 350GT

Wheel type= BSA Wheels AU 213

Wheel diameter = 20''

Wheel width = 8.5 (F) 9.5 ®

Wheel offset = +35 (F) +45 ®

Tyre size =245/35/20 (F) 275/30/20 ®

They fit with no modification, no rubbing on full lock and turning in on driveway. Ride is not harsh conering is better (obviously) rolling diameter is so close to original it doesn't effect speedo or acceleration.

Pic's to follow later.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi guys,

Just wondering how 18x9 +25 front and 18x10 +25 rear would fit on a R33 GTS-T?

How much modification to the guards would be needed, a bit of rolling, possibly some wider front guards?

I have seen these sizes and offsets fitted to a 180sx which I believe has 25mm wider front guards and rolling done on the rear. They fit nicely, stick out a bit at the rear end.

I would imagine an R33 would have more room under the guards than a 180sx, especially at the back?

Cheers

yes they will fit!

Will these fit on the R32 gtst?

I dont want to lip guards and will i have any troubles with scrubbing?

Looking for wheels which will cause no legal problems :)

R32 GTST

F: 17x8 +30 with 235/45

R: 17x9 +30 with 235/40

front wheel (stock offset 25)

The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 18mm LESS

The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 8mm

back wheel (stock offset 38)

The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 5mm LESS

The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 21mm

Thanks

I've got 17x8 and 17x9 with +30 offset front and rear.. 235/45/17 all round

so, front will be fine but rear u need to lip and flare the guards (if car lowered)

How low can i go without scrubbing?

Curently have some shocks/springs which may drop height down to 340mm

Rekin, that "clear r2 indicators" link in your sig is broke...

link fixed now :)
