fitting GTR center console guages in a GTST
jmknights93 replied to skyline33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
May I suggest looking in to VDO gauges. I took this route a few years ago with my old 32 GTS-t as I always wanted a stock OEM look. (I hate the space ship bright light cheap gauges) VDO are a quality brand and easy to find. Sensors come with the gauge, you'll just need to pick up a single din slot 52mm gauge holder (Anywhere online/ebay) and wire you're selected gauges in accordinly. From memory the stock gtr 3 gauge cluster harness runs with the dash loom. Massive pain in the ass to disect and install in to 32 GTS-t considering volt and another boost gauge would be pretty useless. -
Are R32 GTST and GTR boot trims the same ?
jmknights93 replied to RickyForte's topic in General Maintenance
The drivers side boot trim is different as the GTR has an access flap for the attessa reservoir. -
Can anyone tell me what this airbox is off?
jmknights93 replied to RickyForte's topic in General Maintenance
^ as above, 33 airbox. -
Sounds like a poor cover up story tbh.

Correct term would be "Type M". I wouldn't think that'd be a Type M kit as the GTS-t body differs to the GTR (obviously). Fitment would look trash. Looks aftermarket IMO, possibly Greddy?

R32 Gtr Long Term Love, Now Project

I'm actually quite annoyed with Nissan for doing that... 100% greed considering the front lips were never out of production... -

I suspect the big box is GTR front lip and the smaller boxes x2 c pillar trims. -
Judging by the photos he posted, he might be after a GTT ?

Why have you uploaded pics of a car in Japan? I don't quite understand lol..

You'll need a CAS that suits the exhaust cam as the spline on the exhaust cam is different on the neo compared to a S1 or S2 rb25. If you're using the rb25de loom/ecu you'll then need to flip the two end wires of the CAS plug. I assume you would have already done this if the car has been running? What made you think the CAS died?

- using a rb25de intake
- using a rb25de engine loom

The "N1" bar totally not worth the extra coin considering the vent holes look as though they've been cut by a 5 year old with a die grinder. I've attached a great reference image that I found on the forum a few years ago in case you were going that route?

The front lip price jump is very annoying and shame on Nissan for doing that... They've been available for years...

Did you buy the kit over the front counter or online? It's not a model specific kit, more of a generic "bolt on" kit. Cannot believe they're still selling that junk. -
