What are your buying and selling plans?
admS15 replied to Steve85's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Unlike steve85, ive invested in property for the long term rather than cars. Happy living in the outer burbs (scumville) thrashing a gtst and stagea around (fit right in) lol. I have thoughts of buying a nice hi end bmw or merc but then crunch the numbers and think i should just buy another house. Can live the high roller life a bit later on in life i suppose. Once the track bug that has bitten me goes away, i may move on the gtst and get a more modern mid spec bm. Cant fathom tracking a modern car worth $ so the gtst stays for now. -
MLR's 86 not a build thread thread

Nonsense brah, hopefully once it all comes together properly and produces the powahs and times, it'll all make sense and you'll be happy. -

Had an S15 4-5 years ago. Paid 8k for it back then before JDM yo became a thing. Spent a few k un flatbrimming it. Turned out pretty nice before i put it in the tyre barrier at Phillip Island, enter R33 replacement. Less f**ks given. Anyway, the S15 was making a conservative 220rwkw and 415nm with a td06 l2 8cm on 98, the 6sp box with a sprung hd organic clutch handled it fine for the couple of years i thrashed it around. But yeah S15's are drug money now, even for munted ones. Would not bang. -
Just send it

Try Paul at Osaka imports, knox city or Jack Phillips JDM, ravenhall.

Ill make it easy for you. Twins in the bin, single for the win is the consensus.

Will the meet have private security? Gotta make sure the cars stay well preserved. @Fatz can give some good pointers on how to preserve skylines, he has great experience in preservation.- 56 replies

I believe fuel pump is in tank and accessed by removing lower rear seats.

I agree but why stop at 3? I reckon stick rb26 individual throttles on fed by 6 individual turbos. That would be sex.

Is this fuel pressure regulator standard?

How many pesos? I may be interested. -
Agree with this, especially if its a 35 degree day.

But please carry on and let us know the outcome. I like a bit of ghetto.

Excess pay in the rear half shafts/outer CVs?
admS15 replied to 4rrow88's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I had a clunk coming from the back of mine. Like you, i found slack in the cvs. I changed many things that didn't stop the clunk. I ended up buying some electric chassis ears, hooked them up, drove around and isolated the noise to some loose bolts on the bracket at the front of the rear subframe next to the rear jacking point. My money is on, shagged subframe bushes or some loose bolts somewhere. Good luck, hope you find the culprit soon. -
