  1. Ok so I've been a bit slack with updating this. Attempted to fit oil cooler but one of the lines had a leak so I had to rip it all back off in preperation for hill climbs at Bathurst that were on today. Purchased some R34 GTR rims cheap second hand which had used Toyo R888's on them in 265/35/18. Ran those tyres at Bathurst today and made a new personal best time of 53.04 seconds (down from 56.71 seconds at the last one which I was running crappy tyres at). Can't wait to attend the next one with NEW semi's and see how much more time I can crack, there is still plenty of time to be made, but I was pretty happy with 2nd in my class and 9th overall for the day Pics/vids of stuff to come.
  2. Ahh, it's really hard to tell on my phone lol
  3. Wow, those rims look great in matte black. Love it!
  4. Sounds good man!
  5. New clutch looks much better!
  6. Hey mate, I live in Dubbo which is about 2 hours away but 'regularly' travel over that way. I was over there last week for a cruise actually, there was myself, a 33 GTST, a 32 GTR and a 35 GTR haha, as well as a new model STI, 86, 180, etc. I don't know any of the Skyline owners over there but am happy to let you know next time my friends and I are there. I've got non Skyline car mates that live there which is why I usually cruise over.
  7. No major updates, I've been very lazy, but changed gearbox oil on the weekend after ~1100kms of run in. Minimal shavings, less than I expected to come out of a brand new box, so I guess that is good lol. I have purchased a 19 row oil cooler which I will hopefully be fitting this weekend, which means I will also get the Defi oil gauge sensors hooked up finally lol. I also cancelled my order for the new/matching pair of wheels as their was a nearly 2 months (possibly more) back order, so I figured I'd put the money to better use. I am trying to find a good set of track wheels that I can fit some decent sized semi slicks on to now as I have entered the Mountain Straight hill climbs again at Bathurst which are on the 31st August. Keen to beat my times from earlier in the year, which if I get some decent tyres that shouldn't be hard, considering I was running crappy Rotalla's that were nice and hard. I also have some Cusco front adjustable camber arms to fit up which will help me get a bit nicer alignment
  8. PM sent with number. Interested but keen to see pics first.
  9. Great photos man and awesome story. Super jealous, you must take me with you next year! Lol
  10. Car's looking great!
  11. Skids will come, but I seriously can't afford to break the gearbox again Also, yes, yes we will. RB life lol. Shuddup karnt. You should know not to make fun of me because karma gets you back
  12. All looks pretty normal to me. What damage? Haha looks nasty.
  13. Awesome thread, can't wait to read more!
  14. Well the gearbox was fitted up yesterday and everything appears to be good I have done about 300kms or so driving so far and plan to do a a bit more than that next week to get it run in. I also ordered another pair of the P45R2's that I've been running on the front for the rear so I have a complete set for daily driving and will most likely use them for non drifting events still lol. Small mod update to come, when I actually get to doing it
  15. Great updates man! Good to see you getting back into it Love the 'custom' engine stands
  16. Great build thread! Certainly a budget price for what you have. Post pics and vids of skids once they occur!
  17. So after a bit of delay between Nissan and RHD, my gearbox was finally sent last Wednesday. It arrived at my house yesterday!! Small bit of annoyance, on the trip from Japan to Australia somebody decided that the big fragile stickers with arrows pointing up clearly didn't mean anything so the gearbox was sat upright. Luckily they put it on the tailshaft input side so no damage has occured to the input shaft on the bellhousing end. Unluckily, the gearbox was full of oil, which obviously went everywhere! Anyways, here it is. All shiny looking and stuff. Will be fitting it this weekend. Can't wait to get driving again! I've been very unmotivated and wanting to sell the GTT to fund buying a dedicated track car, perhaps driving it again will change my mind lol.
  18. Why did you need the car on a hoist to change the air filter? I think you're doing it wrong
  19. Nice work man. I'm sure you would be loving it now!
