I've never had a steak go cold on me, apart from the 1kg challenge I did...

What if you're no good at cooking steak...?

And if you go to a good steak restaurant /good restaurant in general, your steak will be juicy

Well true it doesn't go cold, but a normal steak doesn't stay anywhere as hot as stone grill. It's like that first awesome bite of steak, but over and over again. Old man travels across town just for it haha

Ain't really cooking it yourself anyway, cause it cooks quick enough that you're pretty much just cutting pieces from the block as they cook; it's hard to screw up unless you're a real slow eater, but can always pull steak off the stone I guess.

Haven't even taken delivery.... just signed contract.. should have it in a week.

it's not exactly a 300rwkw R33... but it is far more convenient for driving kids around which now make up some 99.27% of my driving

lol @ single mum.

is $160 fair price for A/C re-gas? (from scratch, not top-up)

bit tasty, but its summer so 30% increase.

check out cranbourne auto elec. ihe was a top bloke, charged me 180 for a service, few orings, labour for repair and gas on wrx.

Tony have you got the dyno read out from your 380rwkw with a 3" exhaust? Boss has told me in the past that it's almost impossible to see over 330kw with a 3" exhaust.

Yeah it was on Trents dyno, did a drop of the exhaust and no restriction

Its a jjr 3 inch dump and cat, then get slightly bigger to the muffler

Refitting for that new style refrigerant as well?

Y34 should already be R134a, even 33's are already. 32 etc need to be converted from R12 doe.

AC in the new RS is f**king awesome. Have receipts for regass done in 97 and then again in 2011. On the way back home from shitney had to keep turning it off cus it was too cold.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
