    There can't be a boom in a sealed file tank even if the wires touch. No oxygen. When I do pumps I offet the joints, so they can't touch and the use a piece of submersible fuel line over the positive joint. Like heat shrink but not shrunk. None have exploded, so that's a pretty good result.

    They aren't the best flowing items, that's the problem. I would hate to think how bad that inlet side of that setup would flow. Pumps really don't like inlet restrictions

    It's normal for a boost gauge to change units with boost and vacuum. Look at some mechanical gauges and you will see it written on them

    No, it is not at all possible to go below - 14.7 psi, the evo gauge is displaying inches per mercury for vacuum as negative psi isn't a proper way of measuring vacuum.

    Also, it is not possible to read -21 psi at idle, so I would think the difference in readings is due to different units used. Do a pressure test to check for boost leaks. Don't guess.

    Does it run good? What fuel are you using? Do you not beleive previous owner for some reason?

    As above, I would suggest you have missed the little bolts that everyone misses first time around without a manual to guide them.
