  1. I concur with Grant. Buy an evo and be done with it. It will yield the lap times. Why would you move from an s13 to an s15 anyway? It's pretty much the same thing, except a bit newer and heavier with a weaker gearbox. Also people wanting drug money for them. I bought an s15 with a forged rebuilt bottom end 4-5 years ago for 8k. I see worse condition cars than that for sale now for above 15. Yeah nah. I recently saw an evo 7 with fresh 2.2 stroker and lots of good bits on it for 22k. Looked the goods, was sold within a week. That would be an easy decision. The only reason to go s15 would be if you're a RWD purist and you love Nissan's.
  2. Looks spot on[emoji106] I run 265/35/18 ado8r on a 9 inch rim and they sit similar to that.
  3. Is fuel making it into the cylinders. Remove a spark plug and see if it's wet.
  4. And just wants a reason to buy an evo
  5. Hi Robyn, I also need to renew my membership which expires on the 9/7/17. Hope to hear from you soon.
  6. The one jordy32 listed from kudos is 660 and is genuine nissan and a trusted supplier. Nissan are not the only supplier of genuine parts. Companies like kudos, just Jap and taarks buy their oem stuff from Nissan Japan and sell it here with a reasonable mark up, unlike Nissan who like to rape your wallet, although sometimes on certain parts they can be ok.
  7. There is obviously something that is causing this since it keeps repeating itself. It may be time to get a good workshop to take a look and see if they can point anything out. As I have already said, - make sure all the studs are still there and your using genuine nissan yokes and washers - make sure all exhaust hangers and braces are intact and the way the exhaust system is mounted isn't putting any stress on the manifold - check your engine and gearbox mounts are ok and not allowing excess movement that can stress the exhaust and manifold. - if all that checks out, put the car on a Dyno and have afr's checked to make sure it's not running too lean. There has to be an explanation somewhere.
  8. The battery should be able to handle that voltage. The question id be asking is, why is the battery leaking? Overfilled, or is it fubarred? I recently had one leak from where the top plate is joined to the body. Took it back as it was still under warranty and swapped it.

  10. Interested, please add link to supp regs and entry when ready as I don't do bookface. Cheers
  11. There was a complete CAS put on eBay today, apparently brand new condition, only used for 200km $200 start or 275 buy it now. Bloke reckons he bought it thinking it was the source of his issues but turned out to be something else. Maybe worth asking the bloke some questions. Listed as rb25 neo CAS.
  12. I would rather this than that evo above http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R32-GTR-Race-Car-/272703071694?hash=item3f7e5ea5ce:g:uCEAAOSwBt5ZNUL0
  13. This is a skyline forum, so R33 GTST is my choice, has a gearbox and engine that doesn't break easily. Can get decent ones for under 10k, that leaves 30k+ for fasts. Can make just about any car quick with that budget. Probably wont be as fast as an evo with the same $ spent on it but will definitely be a lot of fun. Just a little biased lol
  14. Would rather go with the attkd version from just jap. That way you get a proper warranty if something isn't right with the kit. I dont think i've read anything negative about these. Some guys had issues with the ksport with rotors having too much run out from new.
  15. As above, also some 2nd hand Mines Alcon 6 pots where put up for possible sale last night
  16. Have you given the Ar1's a workout yet?
  17. @inmaniac You can get splitfires from kudos Motorsport on eBay for 550. 15%off if you buy b4 midnight tonight and use voucher code cracker when you pay by PayPal. That would make it $467.50 for a set. As cheap as you'll ever get I reckon.
  18. Yep what Scott black said
  19. Yes ARP studs are reusable. Rb's have a water/oil heat exchanger located bellow the oil filter. Sometimes these can fail and allow water into the oil system. Just thinking out loud and something you could check before you go ripping the head off.
  20. Nissan is well and truly out now brah. You've contaminated it with Sydney air. Should be alright though. #RBLIFE4EVA
  21. Cool. Just checked the price for splitfires, kudos 550 , just Jap 525.
