I'm sure if you ring a UK Pirtek up they'll ship you a hose. I had a couple made up by them before i moved over to OZ, -
And if you want some inspiration, heres a playlist of one being swapped into an Aston Martin

Alternator Not Charging RB25DET
DaymoR32 replied to Eric0's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
i have an rb25det neo converted r32 with a haltech IQ3 dash. my car has a sidelight globe wired in underneath the dashboard (as i dont have a normal dash) when i flick the ignition on the globe is illuminated. once the car is started the globe goes off. I pulled this globe out as i was unsure of what it was for, soon found that my alternator wasnt doing anything so i plugged it back in. might be worth sticking a globe in on the wires previously mentioned.- 14 replies

Shoota's R33 GT-R RB30/26
DaymoR32 replied to Shoota_77's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
haha, i dont think you're ever really going to lose money on a GTR these days, especially seeing as though you bought it a long time ago when they weren't drug money! yep every project car is always 99% finished, well thats what you've got to say to the missus anyway ? -

I’m running 17x9 +35, however they are reverse mounted so that lowers the offset I believe. I’ll have to do a bit of googling to confirm. I’m sure the VAG boys will have a super detailed explanation as they all have them on their stanced golfs with crackle maps. -

thanks for the informative link, i've got 17" LM's though so i may be cutting it a bit fine! I'll keep an eye out for a set of callipers once ive got some coin, either way, if they dont fit i can always sell them on i suppose! -

before i do any trackdays i'd like to do a brake upgrade, still on 280mm rotors and unknown pads, im contemplating 350z brembos or 33 GTR brakes but unsure whether they will fit behind the LM's. Also need to look into all the adjustable suspension arms, im not a massive fan of all the rose joints! i've been looking at the driftworks adjustable arms that have polybushed ends. We'll see what the tax fairy brings me this year and set up a plan from there. -

Thanks @KyleArcher, cant take credit for most of the work though as that was the previous owner! I do have a lot more plans for it now as it wont be a daily driver anymore from next week (getting a work ute) Yep stock internals, just has ARP headstuds. 300kW on 98, and 365kW on E85 -

Getting fuel level signal into the ECU
DaymoR32 replied to Murray_Calavera's topic in General Automotive Discussion
i need to alter the values in my haltech as it reads 80 when full and 35-40 when sort of empty - dont actually know how empty it is as the only dash i have is the IQ3. going to 3d print a nice cluster for it myself when i can be arsed to draw one up. -

My c spanner’s finally arrived on Friday which meant I could raise the car up 15mm all around, however more importantly my carbon jun style front splitter arrived! Again, I’ve only got garage pics for now but it makes the front look heaps better and gets rid of the paint damage on the oem splitter! ive also ordered some replacement ancillary belts as they are starting to squeak on startup, hopefully they arrive this week. -

Also had a GTR seat laying around in the garage for a couple of years, thought I’d chuck it in to see how it feels (it’s not in the best condition though). Much happier with the driving position as I’m now sat a bit lower. Now I just need to hunt down a passenger seat and rear bench! -

Carbon dmax roof spoiler arrived on Tuesday, went straight to burnings and got some sikafkex 258 - the automotive windscreen stuff. Cleaned the window and the spoiler with isopropyl alcohol and applied a decent amount of sikafkex to the spoiler. then chucked a ratchet strap over it and placed a bit of weight on top for extra pressure... Left it to set for 12 hours overnight and it’s safe to say she’s on there for good now! I only have garage photos for now but I’m happy with the look
