yep, unopened and about 300 000kms on it (clock says 140 000 but I'm skeptical about it). I'm running a funny clutch actually, it started life off as a NPC Carbotic Push Clutch with a 1.8 ton pressure plate. After 1.5 years it started to slip so I pulled it out to get it checked. Turns out bearing carrier was incorrect causing the clutch to be disengaged every so slightly all the time. So got the pressure plate machined and clamp reduced, the correct bearing/bearing carrier put back in and I decided to go for a Xtreme Racing Disc instead. It's lighter and also easier to drive with. So now I've got a NPC pressure plate that has its clamp brought down to ~1.6 tons with a Xtreme Clutch Disc that was tricked up. Car drives like a Yaris.. you could press the clutch pedal with 4 figures.

The only sane option here (and by far the most economical) is to take out the RB20 and put in a RB25. Even a stock RB25DET with a basic Toshi Remapped ECU will run rings around a RB20DET with an aftermarket ECU, high flowed turbo, injectors and all that. Do the maths, simple. I've owned a RB20DET in the past, spent money to make it fast.. ended up selling the car because it was a lost cause.

Thanks man! I actually got the rear housing sent to scotty_nm35 to modify. I opted for the v band rear because I absolutely hate the nissan 6 bolt flange, always snap bolts lol

Not yet, but most likely next month after the track day. It's pretty fast I can tell you that and will take more timing. However, I feel it's safer to ram in more boost run lazy timing. I'm feeding it 1.6bar now

Yes the rear housing is a 6 bolt Nissan style flange, unless you've got some weird one. I used a dim sim eBay special dump/down pipe from eBay and it fit up well enough.

use a bell mouth, split ones are gay... I had a HKS2535 back in the days, not a bad turbo but you get really bored of it.

drop the pressure on your fuel reg then? easy

buy a cheap fuel pressure gauge & T-piece.. see what your base pressure is at... less work than putting out the fuel pump and putting in the stock one. report back once done

For the price + postage to land them here in Australia, you might as well get a Plazmaman core OR just a Hybrid/HDi core. FWIW, I'm using a cheap shit ling long dim sim HDi core from my motherland and it works a treat. I'm smash about 1.5bar into the motor most days and the intake air temp sensor never measures more than 34 degrees.

Walbro E85 pump, they're quiet and seem to be pretty reliable. One of my mates have had his DW300 fail but another one still has one going strong. Mind you both bought the DW pump before the Walbro E85 450L pump was available.

And screw in more boost!

Lazy timing, loads of boost and E85 I'm putting 1.5bar into my stock motor, hasn't popped yet. Will go to 1.6bar once I sort out this misfiring issue.

Depends how much power you want, but I would say 660cc injectors won't get you far. I'm using 875cc injectors and I'm at 92% duty cycle with a Hypergear SS2 turbo. But if you're getting the E85 itch just drop in 1000cc injectors and a Walbro 450 E85 pump.

Sell your car, buy a turbo charged car. More economical
